Spurs make light work of Europe distracted Foxes

Spurs made light work of Leicester City, beating them 3-1 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday afternoon to go fourth in the table, and put the pressure back on North London rivals Arsenal in the battle to finish in the top 4.

A goal from Harry Kane and a brace from Son Heung-min gave Spurs the 3 points.

Kelechi Iheanacho scored a 91st minute consolation for Leicester, who in truth, looked like they were more concerned about Thursday's Europa Conference League semi-final, 2nd leg in Rome. Premier League match highlights follow below....

Tottenham vs Leicester Match Highlights

Spurs Go Fourth; For Now!

The win for Spurs sees them go fourth, but if Arsenal beat West Ham later in the day, it will be a short lived stay in the Champions League positions for Antonio Conte's team.

Interestingly for both Spurs and Arsenal, Chelsea's 1-0 defeat to Everton in their corresponding fixture on Sunday could see it now become a three way battle for two Champions League places.

Spurs are 5 points behind the Blues though, with just four matches remaining.

That gap may be too much to close at this late stage of the season. As for Arsenal, if they beat West Ham, they will be just 3 points behind Tuchel’s team.

Premier League Top 4 Finish Betting

The bookmakers don't seem to have any reservations about Chelsea finishing in the top 4.

The fact that Spurs and Arsenal still have to play each other, and Spurs also have to go to Anfield, is probably the main reason they aren't expected to catch Chelsea.

The North London Derby on 12th May is probably also all that's keeping Man Utd's name in the equation.

Next up for Spurs is Liverpool (A) on 7th May, and Arsenal (H) on 12th May.

For Arsenal, they play West Ham (A) today, and Leeds (H) next Sunday.
