Liverpool may have endured a nervy win earlier in the day over Newcastle, but Manchester City certainly didn't have any such problems against Leeds United.
Pep's City team brushed Leeds aside in a comfortable 4-0 win. Goals from Rodri, Nathan Ake, Gabriel Jesus and Fernandinho seen the light blues go back top of the league table.
One Nathan Ake fired in City’s second from a Dias knockdown in the 54th minute, the result was never in doubt.
The win seen City go back to the top of the table. And also move another match closer to retaining their Premier League title.
With one eye on Wednesday's Champions League semi-final against Real Madrid, Guardiola rested Kevin de Bruyne, Bernado and Riyad Mahrez.
Of those three, only Bernado made it onto the field of play.
Next up in the Premier League for City is Newcastle next Sunday.
