Man Utd V Spurs 04/10/20 – Football Betting Tips
It’s been a mixed start to the season for both of these two teams.
Man Utd have won one and drawn one of their two fixtures – looking far from convincing in both matches. While Spurs have won one, lost one, and drawn one, so far in this campaign.
In their season’s opener, United were well of the pace in the 3-1 home defeat to Crystal Palace.
They were a lot better against Brighton last weekend, but they still looked well short of the form they ended last season in.

Spurs have been scatter gun this season, and it’s hard to know what you’re going to get from them.
So far they lost 1-0 at home to Everton with an appalling performance. Won 5-2 away at Southampton, playing great attacking football. Then last weekend, they stuttered to a 1-1 draw with Newcastle, in a match they could have been 5-0 up in at half-time.
Prior to today, they’ve also played a further two matches since the 1-1 draw with Newcastle.
Jose’s team fought their way to a penalty shoot out win over Chelsea in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday. Then just two day’s later, they thrashed Maccabi Haifa 7-2 in a Europa League qualifier.
All this makes predicting Spurs’ results seem near on impossible.
Can Bitter Jose do a number on United?
Don’t ask me why, but I’ve just got a sneaky feeling for Spurs today.
We all know Jose is a bitter so-and-so, who loves nothing more than revenge.
Solskjaer’s remarks about United’s recent cautious transfer policy been down to the over spending of previous regimes, will no doubt be seized upon and taken personally by Mourinho.
In short, Jose will be mad keen to do a number on Ole and his United team!
Mourinho will know the best way to organise his team tactically to frustrate United. So for this reason, I can see United coming unstuck in this one.
Spurs and the Draw are 8/11 in Double Chance betting, and I think that is good value. While if I’m pushed for a match outcome, I’ll go small on a Spurs win.
