🔵 Manchester City vs Leeds - Man City (-1) Handicap (3/4)
Manchester City have had a week to forget. They began with a 2-1 defeat to Newcastle United in the Premier League on Saturday.
That was followed by a 2-0 defeat at home to Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League on Tuesday.
Leeds dropped into the bottom three last weekend following a 2-1 home defeat to Aston Villa. It was the Whites’ third defeat in a row and fifth in their last six matches.
City have a habit of thumping struggling teams at the Etihad. They thrashed Burnley 5-1 earlier this season.
They’ve also beaten Manchester United 3-0, Everton 2-0, Bournemouth 3-1 and Liverpool 3-0. All five wins saw City win by two clear goals or more.
Rather than just backing them to win at the shorter odds on offer from the most trusted football betting sites, we are instead backing City to win from a -1 goal start on the European handicap.
Tip: Manchester City -1
🔴 Bournemouth vs Sunderland - Bournemouth/Draw Double Chance (1/3)
Bournemouth’s level has dropped off in recent weeks. The Cherries have only won one of their five
Sunderland’s form has also dipped. The Black Cats are three without a win. Furthermore, Sunderland have the second worst xG in the Premier League behind Burnley. This all points at Regis Le Bris' team occupying a false position in the table.
We can't trust Bournemouth to win the match. So the safest option is to back them not to lose.
Tip: Bournemouth or Draw
🔵 Everton vs Newcastle - Both Teams to Score (7/10)
Everton have been decent at home. However, the Toffees are far from a banker win. Inconsistency is the biggest problem facing David Moyes' team.
Newcastle have been diabolical on the road. None more so than in recent weeks, with defeats coming away at West Ham (3-1) and Brentford (3-1).
However, they will improve at some point. And as the Magpies' 2-1 win over Manchester City at St. James' Pak proved last weekend, Eddie Howe's team are capable of competing with the teams at the top end of the table.
It is tempting to go with a Newcastle win. However, backing both teams to score looks the safest bet.
Tip: BTTS – Yes
⚪ Tottenham vs Fulham - Tottenham to Win (6/5)
Tottenham have won just one home match in the Premier League this season. They have one of the worst home records in the league.
The Lilywhites haven't won a league match at home since they defeated Burnley 3-0 on the opening weekend of the season.
Fulham's away form has been even worse. They have picked up just one point from a possible 18. That was a late equaliser in 1-1 draw with Brighton. Again, on the opening weekend of the season.
This match pits a poor home record against an even worse away record. Surely Spurs have to win. Furthermore, the best football betting sites are offering good odds on the home team, so let's put them in our acca and hide behind the sofa.
Tip: Tottenham to Win
