Round 25 of the Premier League is upon us, with a real six-pointer between Leeds and Nottingham Forest at Elland Road on Friday night getting the weekend's action underway.
Leeds and Forest are two of the teams sitting above the relegation zone, with the bottom three of West Ham, Burnley and Wolves cut adrift and looking likely to be playing Championship football next season.
At the top of the table, leaders Arsenal extended their lead to six points with an impressive 4-0 win away at Leeds last weekend. The Gunners were further assisted by Aston Villa’s 1-0 defeat at home to Brentford, and Manchester City’s dropped points in their 2-2 draw at Spurs.
We’ve put together four of the best bets on this weekend’s action below. Place a tenner at William Hill and get £113.40 back if the acca wins.
Premier League Matchday 25 Betting Tips
| Match | Tips | Odds |
| Man Utd vs Spurs | Over 2.5 Goals and BTTS | 4/5 |
| Arsenal vs Sunderland | Arsenal to score in both halves | 11/10 |
| Wolves vs Chelsea | Chelsea to win | 4/6 |
| Liverpool vs Man City | Over 2.5 Goals and BTTS | 4/5 |
Man Utd vs Spurs - Over 2.5 Goals and BTTS (4/5)
Man Utd have scored eight in their last three, and conceded four in their previous two. Their last two results have been 3-2 wins over Arsenal and Fulham.
Spurs are Spurs. Appalling at home, and they have one of the best away records in the Premier League. They are almost impossible to predict.
Thomas Frank’s team shared four goals with Manchester City last Sunday. We can see them sharing at least three at Old Trafford.
Tip: Over 2.5 goals and both teams to score
Arsenal vs Sunderland - Arsenal to score in both halves (11/10)
Arsenal put four past Leeds last Saturday. They have an outstanding home record, picking up 29 points from a possible 36.
The Gunners’ 3-2 defeat at home to Manchester United on Matchday 23 means Sunderland are now the only top-flight team who can boast an unbeaten home record.
On the road, their record is poor. The Black Cats have just ten points from 12 matches. They conceded three in both their last away days at West Ham and Brentford, with the Bees scoring in both halves.
We see Arsenal taking control of the match with an early goal, before sealing the three points with a second half strike.
Tip: Arsenal to score in both halves
Wolves vs Chelsea - Chelsea to win (4/6)
Back-to-back 2-0 defeats away to Manchester City and at home to Bournemouth have brought Wolves’ mini-rivals to a shuddering halt.
We can understand the loss at the Etihad, but the defeat at home to the Cherries was more like the Wolves of old this season.
Chelsea are going well under Liam Rosenior. They came unstuck in their second leg of the EFL Cup against Arsenal on Tuesday, but the Blues were chasing the game.
Prior to the 1-0 defeat to the Gunners, Chelsea had won five in a row in all competitions.
Three of the wins came in the Premier League, moving the Blues up to fifth in the table, just one point outside the top four and the Champions League places.
If the Londoners want to continue their quest for a place in the top four, this is a match they simply have to win.
Tip: Chelsea to win
Liverpool vs Man City - Over 2.5 goals and BTTS (4/5)
Liverpool finally won a Premier League match in 2026 with last Saturday’s 4-1 win over Newcastle United at Anfield.
The Reds did go a goal behind, but a quick-fire brace from Hugo Ekitike gave them a 2-1 lead at the break, with goals from Florian Wirtz and Ibrahima Konaté completing the emphatic victory.
Man City ended their 2026 Premier League win drought with a 2-0 win over Wolves on Matchday 23.
However, they couldn’t build on that momentum and chucked away a two goal lead at Spurs last Sunday, eventually drawing 2-2.
The Blues did bounce back with a 3-1 win over Newcastle in their EFL Cup second round tie on Wednesday.
Liverpool don’t lose many at home, but they can’t be trusted to win. City are also too unpredictable, so a wager on over 2.5 goals and both teams to score looks the best value bet.
Tip: Over 2.5 goals and both teams to score
