The final Saturday night football before the latest international break is a blockbuster clash at Stamford Bridge as Chelsea host Liverpool on Saturday, 4th October, with kick-off at 5:30 pm.
After their win at the FIFA Club World Cup, Chelsea were given the “dark horses” tag for this season’s Premier League. Just six games in, that prediction already looks wide of the mark.

That said, Slot has an abundance of quality at his disposal. Along with Arsenal, Liverpool have one of the two strongest squads in the league.
The Reds were active in the summer transfer market, and a period of adjustment was always likely. It looks like they’re going through it now.
