Thibaut Courtois criticises La Liga for making Real Madrid play away in Osasuna on Saturday.
The goalkeeper hit out at the Spanish football league after Los Blancos were held to a 0-0 draw in snowy conditions, criticising the governing body for forcing Madrid to turn up and play.
Parts of Spain have been hit by freak snow storms, resulting in some matches been postponed. Real Madrid - against their wishes - were forced to turn up and play their fixture in Osasuna.
The Madrid flight to the Pamplona region of Spain was delayed by four hours, and clearly Courtois wasn't impressed.
Thibaut Courtois criticises La Liga in aftermatch interview
Speaking after the 0-0 draw with Courtois said
"I want to thank the people of Osasuna for having the pitch like this, but it is unfortunate what LaLiga have done to us."
"We know what the conditions were, and of course we were able to play, but taking off with the frozen runway and now we can't go home. We are human and not a show."
Courtois further added..... "We have done what was asked, as if we didn't come they would have docked three points from us. But I don't think it's safe, we aren't puppets that always have to play."
"We made the effort today, but we have to think about these trips and the logistics needed to return home."
In drawing 0-0, Real Madrid missed the chance to go top of the La Liga table. They remain in second place on 37 points.
That's just 1 point behind city rivals, Atletico Madrid. But crucially, Diego Simeone's team have three games in hand.
Also breathing down Real's neck are Barcelona, who sit 3rd in the table on 34 points - just 3 behind Real.
The Catalans had no issues in their fixture earlier in the day. Two goals apiece from Antoine Griezmann and Lionel Messi saw Barca brush Granada aside 4-0.
All of a sudden after three consecutive wins on the road, Ronald Koeman's Barcelona are starting to look a threat.
