Welcome to our Matchweek 11 predictions for all 10 Premier League matches this weekend.

Well, I think it’s fair to say that my Matchweek 11 predictions didn’t go too well.

If you are a subscriber to the Premium Tips and you want to have a moan, I can understand that. But not for these free bit of fun predictions.

With regard to these predictions, I only have £1 on each match, and a £1 10-fold accumulator for a bit of fun.

DO NOT take them too seriously. As the results at Liverpool and Manchester City showed last weekend, Premier League matches are hard to predict.

Before I go on, can I please point out that these predictions are for a bit of fun only. I give up my time for free to write them, and I don’t expect abusive emails like the one I received last week.

With regard to the Premium Tips, we had a nice winner on Sunday on our Villa v West Ham tip.

Our hedged bet tip of Both Teams to Score and Draw, and Both Teams To Score and West Ham win, came in, giving us a nice tidy profit.

Latest Premier League Winner Betting Odds

Before we get started, a quick look at the latest Premier League betting odds shows that Chelsea have gone ahead of Liverpool in the betting again, and are now second favourites.

  • Man City 13/10 (2.30)
  • Chelsea 17/10 (2.70)
  • Liverpool 11/4 (3.75)
  • Man Utd 33/1 (34.0)
  • Arsenal 100/1 (101.0)
  • West Ham 125/1 (126.0)
  • Tottenham 150/1 (151.0)

On the back of their 2-0 defeat at home to Crystal Palace, not predicted by me, Pep’s City have now drifted out to 13/10, having been 10/11 the previous week.

Right, onto this weekend’s match predictions.

Premier League Predictions Matchweek 11

Southampton vs Aston Villa Match Prediction

  • Friday 8pm

Ralf Hasenhuttl’s side have won two from their last three and are in decent form. Villa have lost their last four in a row.

There is a huge difference in form and confidence between these two sides. Southampton are flying, while Villa are now really struggling,

I watched the highlights of the Saints 1-0 win over Watford last weekend, and it should have 5 or 6-0, not 1-0.

As for Villa, they were well beat by West Ham, and they were also well beaten by Arsenal the previous week.

Have to go with form here and a home win.

  • Verdict - Southampton Win

Man Utd vs Man City Match Prediction

  • Saturday 12.30pm

Ole’s Man Utd side has a habit of digging him out of holes, and also raising their game for big matches (except the Liverpool match).

They did get a huge helping hand from a truly awful Spurs performance last weekend, and they won’t be afforded that luxury against Pep’s City side.

United weren’t great in midweek either, and I feel the Spurs win is merely papering over the huge cracks.

Premier League Predictions Matchweek 11
Old Trafford

As for City, they had a disaster last Saturday against Crystal Palace.

They can’t afford to drop any more points, as Chelsea are already 5 ahead of them, and at home to Burnley tomorrow.

The last time City needed a win to prove a point, they went to Stamford Bridge and got it.

Unless United somehow manage to pull a huge performance out of the hat on Saturday, I can only see a win for City.

  • Verdict - Man City Win

Brentford vs Norwich Match Prediction

  • Saturday 3pm

The Bees have found out what life is really like in the Premier League over the past 3 weeks.

Yes, if you asked Brentford fans at the start of the season would they be happy with 12 points from their opening 10 matches in the Premier League, I’m sure most fans would have snapped your hand off.

But they have now lost three matches in a row.

Could this finally be Norwich’s first win of the season? Maybe, I wouldn’t be surprised.

They did improve last week, only losing 2-1 to Leeds!

These are two sides in a bad run at the moment, and neither can be picked to win on form.

Therefore I feel I have to go with the Bees as they have home advantage.

  • Verdict - Brentford Win

Chelsea vs Burnley Match Prediction

  • Saturday 3pm

Despite not having a striker for the last two matches, Chelsea have won by an aggregate of 10-0.

Admitted, they were playing the two worst sides in the Premier League. And if you are going to be striker-less for a period of time, that sure was the ideal time!

The Blues have won four in a row now, and if they win again, and now have a 5 point lead over Man City, who as we have already alluded to, are away at Old Trafford this weekend.

Burnley for their part secured their first home win of the season last weekend. Could they go an ruin Chelsea’s record? Possibly, this is Burnley.

I still have to predict a win for Tuchel’s Blues though.

  • Verdict - Chelsea Win

Crystal Palace vs Wolves Match Prediction

  • Saturday 3pm

When teams like Crystal Palace pull off great unexpected results, like they did at Man City last weekend, they often follow it up with an awful one.

Palace had drawn their last four prior to last weekend, and it has to be said, the 2-0 win at the Etihad was one of those freak results that gets thrown up every now and then.

As for Wolves, they are the form side in the Premier League across the last 5 matches. Their four wins and a draw, betters both Chelsea and West Ham, who have four wins and a loss.

  • Verdict - Wolves Win

Brighton vs Newcastle Match Prediction

  • Saturday 5.30pm

Well, I keep saying Newcastle will win one week, and it will come.

Brighton pulled off a remarkable comeback at Anfield last week, and like Palace above, could well follow that up with a stinker.

Going on form though, how can I predict anything other than a home win?

  • Verdict - Brighton Win

Arsenal vs Watford Match Prediction

  • Sunday 2pm

The Gunners are in excellent form at the moment, and in Aaron Ramsdale, probably have the form player in the Premier League.

A lot of their 2-0 win over Leicester City last weekend was down to the brilliance of the Arsenal keeper, and he is certainly proving all his doubters wrong.

As for Watford, they followed their excellent 5-2 win over Everton up with a 1-0 home defeat to Southampton.

Can only see a home win in this match.

  • Verdict - Arsenal Win

Everton vs Spurs Match Prediction

  • Sunday 2pm

The struggling Toffees against the woeful Spurs. At least Tottenham enter the Matchweek with a manager who will have his team up for the game.

Antonio Conte
New Tottenham Boss, Antonio Conte

Poor old Nuno didn’t have a chance with this rabble. Nuno did, what Nuno does during his time at Spurs, I really don’t know what Daniel Levy thought he was hiring - the next Pep Guardiola?

Anyway, I think Conte will have an immediate impact and Spurs will sneak this one.

  • Verdict - Spurs win

Leeds vs Leicester Match Prediction

  • Sunday 2pm

This is another of those tricky matches to call.

In all honesty, Leeds haven’t been great this season. They have only won twice, and one of them was last weekend away to Norwich, and they made hard work of it!

Leicester may well have got a point against Arsenal last weekend were it not for Aaron Ramsdale, and I’m predicting they win this one.

  • Verdict - Leicester Win

West Ham vs Liverpool Match Prediction

  • Sunday 4.30pm

The final match of the weekend, and indeed for two weeks, is West Ham vs Liverpool.

Despite dropping 2 points at home to Brighton last weekend, Klopp’s men are flying. They are currently in a remarkable run of form, and look like the team that won the title a couple of year’s back.

West Ham aren’t doing too badly either, and they have 13 points from their last 15.

I just think Liverpool are too strong at the moment though, and I can’t do anything other than predict another Liverpool win.

  • Verdict - Liverpool Win
