Updated on 03/12/14 after 3-0 win over Tottenham
After Saturday’s close shave away at Sunderland, business as usual was resumed for Chelsea tonight as they completed a comfortable 3-0 victory over a hapless looking Spurs.
Tottenham started the better and had the early chances, but their defending was pretty awful and once Chelsea got in front the result was never in doubt.
Another slight trimming of the odds tonight. Chelsea were 15/2 to remain unbeaten after the Sunderland match, they are now 7/1 with bet365 to go unbeaten this season. bet365 customers opening a new account here can get a £200.00 Welcome Bonus, and a £50.00 Free bet on mobile or tablet.
Updated on 01/12/14 after 0-0 draw with Sunderland
The unbeaten run nearly came to an end on Saturday evening. I know Chelsea had the majority of possession and created the more clear cut chances, but Sunderland did have that scrambled chance with about 5 minutes to go, and the way the Black Cats defended, I doubt whether Chelsea would have managed an equaliser in the little time remaining.
Anyway, survive the scare they did, and Chelsea are now 13 games unbeaten (10 wins, 3 draws). Next up is a home fixture against Spurs on Wednesday. The best price on the Blues going unbeaten in league all season is now 15/2 with bet365.
Updated on 23/11/14 after Chelsea 2-0 West Brom
Another victory in the Premier League for Chelsea yesterday, and that’s now 12 games unbeaten for Chelsea. The best odds on the Blues to go unbeaten this season is now 9/1 with Coral.
In other news about Chelsea betting, Paddy Power have pulled their usual publicity stunt and paid out on Chelsea to win the league already.
Updated on 26/10/14 after Man Utd 1-1 Chelsea
Another difficult away fixture out of the way, as the Blues were held 1-1 away at Old Trafford. bet365 now have Chelsea at the best price to remain unbeaten this season, it is only 8/1.
Also offering 8/1 are Skybet, who also have Chelsea at only 7/4 to remain unbeaten at Stamford Bridge for the remainder of the season.
Although a 1-1 draw at Old Trafford is a perfectly respectable result, the manner and time that Chelsea conceded the equaliser in must make it feel like 2 points dropped today.
Just eight matches into the new Premier League season, and we already have markets available about whether Chelsea can go a whole Premier League season undefeated.
Jose Mourinho’s side recorded their seventh win (along with 1 draw) with victory over Crystal Palace last weekend, and that has resulted in Paddy Power cutting their odds to remain unbeaten this season to 11/1 (from 12/1).
Paddy Power are offering new customers opening an account here a £50.00 Free Bet. As you might not want your betting account funds potentially tied up for a season, using a free bet on this market could be a good option.
Unlike a bet on a team to win the Premier League that could potentially pay out before the season finishes, this is a bet that has to go all the way to the final match.
bet365 also have a book on this market, and they are actually offering better odds, as they make Chelsea 14/1 to remain unbeaten in the Premier League for the rest of the 2014/15 season.
