Super Cup Winner Betting

It’s the Super Cup tonight, which is UEFA’s battle between their two European Trophy holders, and this year it is an all Spanish affair as Real Madrid take on Sevilla in Cardiff (7.45 Kick Off, UK Time).

Bet365 make Real Madrid heavy odds on favourites to lift the UEFA Super Cup for the second time, with Seville the outsiders. New signing’s, James Rodriguez, Toni Kroos and Keylor Navas are all expected to feature, with Rodriguez the main headline act after his World Cup exploits with Columbia.

Madrid are 2/5 to lift the Cup in 90 minutes, while they can be backed at 2/11 to lift the Trophy (win by any method).

Sevilla on the other hand are a massive looking 7/1 to win in 90 minutes, and 4/1 to lift the trophy. If you fancy a 90 minutes draw, then that can be backed at 17/4 with bet365.

Speaking of draws, and it makes sense to place any Correct Score, Half-Time/Full-Time or Scorecast bets with bet365, because if it is a 0-0 draw, you will get a refund on your first bet on either one of those markets under bet365’s 0-0 bore draw refund, which is available to both new and existing customers.

If you aren’t already a bet365 customer, you can join here and take advantage of their £200.00 Welcome Bonus – a market leading sign up package.

When you get a bet365 account you will see that they are a good bookie for existing customers, with benefits like live streaming of major European football leagues, such as Germany, France and Italy. They also offer existing customers a £50.00 free bet on mobile, and unlimited each-way places on first goal scorer bets.

Wayne Rooney Total Goals Betting

Wayne Rooney seems to be liking life under new coach Louis van Gaal, and there is even rumours that he could be the next Manchester United captain, with a lot having been made of his manager’s comments praising English style leadership.

The early indications when van Gaal was mooted as the new United boss, was that Rooney might be looking to exit, but that talk seems very distant now. So much so, that bet365 obviously expect Rooney to be around for the whole of the season, as they are running a goals spread book on him.

In this season’s Premier League matches, bet365 are offering 5/6 on Rooney to score Over 14.5 Goals (15 Goals or more), and they are also offering 5/6 on him scoring Under 14.5 Goals (14 Goals or less).

Last season seen Rooney score 17 league goals, and the season before seen him score 12, suggesting the spread is about right. A simple equation for me is – if Rooney has a good season, he easily reaches 15 PL goals. If he struggles and life under van Gaal isn’t too comfortable, he will probably fall short.

If you haven’t already got a bet365 account, you can open one here and claim a £200.00 Welcome Bonus. If you have already got one, you will probably be aware that they run a lot of offers for existing customers.

This season see the continuation of their 0-0 bore draw money back special, unlimited places on Each-Way first goalscorer bets, and their £50.00 Free Bet on your first bet placed by mobile or tablet.

World Cup Final – Penalty Payback

We now know the World Cup finalists after Argentina’s Penalty Shoot out victory over Netherlands on Wednesday night, and in fairness the second semi-final obviously wasn’t a patch on the Germany V Brazil one the previous night.

Given what happened to Brazil, I wouldn’t be too surprised to see similar tactics in the final from Argentina (to what we seen last night) as they are not likely to just come out and go toe to toe with the Germans.

I hope any disappointed Netherlands World Cup ‘Outright Winner’ backers were on their team with bet365, as if you were, this morning you would be getting a nice refund of your losing bet into your bet365 account, under bet365’s Penalty Payback promotion (more on this later).

Moving onto the final, and it’s no great surprise to see the German’s as the favourites given the respective semi-final performances, and probably due to the fact that they have been the most solid looking outfit over the course of the whole competition.

In 90 minute betting, Germany are 13/10, the Draw is 9/4 and Argentina are 5/2. In Outright Winner betting, the Germans are also the favourites at 4/6, with Argentina at 5/4 to Lift The Trophy.

If you are looking to bet on the Outright Winner/To Lift The Trophy, then make sure it is with bet365, because of their Penalty Payback promotion.

As I eluded too with the Dutch, if your team loses on penalties, you get your losing Outright Winner bet refunded (in straight cash). Just to be clear, the refund is only available on Outright Winner/To Lift The Trophy betting, a two horse race of either Germany or Argentina to win, not 90 minute betting (where there is 3 outcomes, win, draw, lose).

There will probably be plenty of sign up promotions available with other bookies, and you may well find slightly better odds on the Outright Winner market if you shop around, but if you are expecting a tight final which could go to penalties (and looking at the way Argentina played their semi-final, this is a good chance) then it is worth betting with bet365, as you have 3 outcomes, win, lose, or money back.

If you haven’t already got a bet365 account, you can open one here and grab yourself a £200.00 Welcome Bonus and a £50.00 Free Bet on your first mobile or tablet bet.

James Rodriguez Favourite To Be World Cup Top Scorer

Despite being out of the World Cup, Columbia’s James Rodriguez is still the favourite to be the tournament’s Top Scorer at a best price of 8/11 with bet365.

Rodriguez (6 goals) is currently 2 goals ahead of his closest rivals, Messi, Muller and Neymar (who all have 4 goals), and then comes Robin van Persie and Arjen Robben both on 3 goals.

Obviously Neymar is out of the tournament, while the others now have a guaranteed 2 matches to try and catch Rodriguez.

Rodriguez remains the favourite, probably due to the fact that tight matches are expected throughout the rest of the World Cup, but the 3rd place play-off would see a less pressurised match, and who knows what might happen there?

It’s not impossible to see Muller or Messi scoring one goal a game in their remaining two fixtures, whether the second match be a final or the 3rd place play-off, so a dead heat isn’t out of the question.

For Arjen Robben and van Persie, it looks a bit more difficult. It’s hard to make a case for either man scoring the 4 goals required to possibly win outright, and it looks hard for either of them to even score the 3 required for a (possible, depending on what Messi and Muller do) dead heat with Rodriguez.

If you are a real optimist, Higuain (1 Goal) and Fred (1 Goal) are 200/1, although in Fred’s case I think he should be more like 100,000/1.

If you are betting on each-way first goalscorers in the remaining World Cup fixtures, it is worth noting that bet365 pay out on unlimited goalscorers (on each-way bets), which means you could have the last goalscorer in a 3-3 draw and still win. New bet365 customers can also get a £200.00 Welcome Bonus and a £50.00 free mobile bet.

Both new and existing bet365 customers can also get a refund on losing World Cup Outright Winner bets if your team gets knocked out on penalties. So far it has refunded on Greece, Chile and Costa Rica, and with more tight matches expected, I expect to see it come into force again.

Full Top Scorer Betting is as follows,

6 Goals – Rodriguez 8/11
4 Goals – Messi 10/3
4 Goals – Muller 9/2
3 Goals – van Persie 16/1
3 Goals – Robben 20/1

3/1 Argentina OR 13/2 Belgium with Titanbet

Brazil and Germany got through to the semi-finals yesterday, and today sees Argentina and Belgium looking to join them in the last four when they square up at the Estádio Nacional de Brasilia in Brasília at 5pm (UK time). And as usual, we have a selection of sign up offers on the big match.

Anybody opening a new Titanbet account here can choose from an enhanced price of either 3/1 on Argentina OR 13/2 on Belgium to win in 90 minutes.

This is a new accounts only offer, and the maximum bet is £10.00. All new Titanbet accounts can also get a £5.00 free bet every day that they place £50.00 worth of bets, and you can also get a refund of £10.00 on your first losing mobile bet (refund comes in the form of a free bet).

Personally, I think 13/2 on Belgium sounds huge, but if you don’t like either of those offers, you could instead get an enhanced price of 3/1 on Lionel Messi to score anytime in the 90 minutes with Titanbet.

Remember, you can only choose one of these Titanbet offers at the enhanced price, either Argentina at 3/1, Belgium at 13/2 or Messi at 3/1.

Moving onto other offers and don’t forget that bet365’s Penalty Payback offer means that you can get your money back on losing Outright Winner bets if your team gets knocked out of the World Cup on penalties, as Chile and Greece did. This offer is open to both new and existing bet365 customers.

New bet365 customers can sign up here for a £200.00 Welcome Bonus and a £50.00 Free Bet on your first mobile bet.

Coral also have some enhanced prices available on this match. These offers are also available to both new and existing customers, with a maximum bet of £20.00.

To start with, you can get 9/4 on Messi to score anytime in 90 minutes and Argentina to win in 90 minutes.

The second offer is an appealing looking 8/1 on Hazard to score anytime and Belgium to win in 90 minutes.

And the final offer from Coral is 4/1 on Argentina to win in 90 minutes and both teams to score.
