Liverpool vs Man Utd Match Prediction - Tuesday 8pm

Liverpool clearly had one eye on Saturday's semi-final and this match when they named their team to play Benfica in the Champions League last Wednesday.

Jurgen Klopp Premier League Match Predictions

Reds' boss Jurgen Klopp left out a whole host of stars for the 3-3 draw with the Portuguese side. That decision was partly vindicated when Liverpool beat Man City in the FA Cup last Saturday, and another 3 points here will prove Klopp correct.

Can United be party poopers though? They've had an awful season, and come into this match with a number of players missing for differing and tragic reasons.

This is the sort of match the Red Devils may well turn up and win. That doesn't mean I think they will though!

But would it surprise me? No it wouldn't. It would just sum up this United team.

Liverpool can't take their foot off the gas at all though. And I don't think they will. Add to that, United's absent players, and I can only go for a home win.

  • Verdict  - LIVERPOOL WIN

Chelsea vs Arsenal Match Prediction - Wednesday 7.45pm

Chelsea has been a touch hit and miss lately. The two legs of the Champions League against Real Madrid pretty much sums them up of late.

As for Arsenal, what on earth is going on?

The wheels have spectacularly fallen off in recent weeks. Today there's a story about striker Alexandre Lacazette, with his manager publicly urging him to focus on Arsenal, rather than where he might be playing next season.

Stories like that rarely come out of happy dressing rooms.

  • Verdict - CHELSEA WIN

Everton v Leicester Match Prediction - Wednesday 7.45pm

The Toffees won their last home match 1-0 against Man Utd. As I've mentioned in these posts before, Everton haven't been that bad at home in recent weeks. It's their away form that continually lets them down.

Leicester were on a decent run. That was, up until Sunday's 2-1 defeat away to Newcastle!

Was that defeat just a blip of recent weeks? Or was it typical inconsistent Leicester? I'm not sure to be honest, so I'm fence sitting again.

  • Verdict - DRAW

Newcastle vs Crystal Palace Match Prediction - Wednesday 7.45pm

Newcastle have now won back to back fixtures having lost three in a row. The two wins were decent home wins over Wolves and Leicester.

Crystal Palace finally saw their excellent cup run come to an end in their 2-0 FA Cup semi-final defeat at the hands of Chelsea last Sunday. The Eagles have had a decent run in the Premier League of late as well, which was ended by Leicester the previous week.

I'm going for Newcastle to win this as I'm anticipating a Palace FA Cup hangover.

  • Verdict - NEWCASTLE WIN

Man City vs Brighton Match Prediction - Wednesday 8pm

Pep's team have had a couple of bruising encounters of late, and if ever there was to be a good time to play them, surely it must be now.

Brighton have just pulled off a totally unpredicted North London double, winning away at both Arsenal and Spurs. And this off the back of an absolutely awful run.

The Seagulls were well worth their 1-0 win at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium last Saturday.

But can they carry this run on at the Etihad? I'm not sure, and at this stage of the season it's almost impossible to back against Man City or Liverpool.

  • Verdict - MAN CITY WIN

Burnley vs Southampton Match Prediction - Thursday 7.45pm

The Clarets picked up a good point away at West Ham in their first match since sacking Sean Dyche. But they will be kicking themselves that they didn't take more points given Maxwell Cornet's penalty miss.

As for Southampton, where did that 1-0 win over Arsenal come from? Are the Saints over their dip in form? Or were Arsenal just bloody awful last Saturday?

Probably a bit of both. I'm going for another stalemate in this match.

  • Verdict - DRAW
