It's the final weekend of the 2021/22 Premier League campaign, and that means it's time for our free match predictions for Matchweek 38 of the season.
Still up for grabs this season is the Premier League title, the fourth and final Champions League spot, and the third relegation position.
I suppose I could also add that Man Utd and West Ham still have to sort out who goes into the Europa League, or the Europa Conference League, as well.
Arsenal vs Everton Match Prediction - Sunday 4pm
It's been a torrid last couple of matches for the Gunners, and it probably feels like their whole season has fallen apart over the past few days.
The defeats to Spurs and Newcastle mean they're all but done for, when it comes to qualifying for next season's Champions League.
As for Everton, they're safe for another season in the Premier League, and they probably don't care what the score is this weekend.
Their remarkable comeback against Crystal Palace on Thursday will probably help the Gunners on Sunday. Sadly for Arteta and co, I don't think it will matter in the bigger picture.
- Verdict - ARSENAL WIN
Brentford vs Leeds Match Prediction - Sunday 4pm
As you will find as you go through my predictions, I don't see Burnley beating Newcastle. So if this is the case, a win for Leeds will be enough to keep them up.
On form though, the Elland Road outfit should have no chance.
Leeds have two draws and three defeats in their last five, and their 92nd minute equaliser against Brighton last Sunday could yet be a season saver.
But Brentford are flying at the moment. They've won five of their last seven, and they have a chance of finishing in the top half of the table if they win this.
The Bees will also want to put on a show for their fans.
This result could be any in all honesty, but I'm going with form, and that means a win fir Brentford.
- Verdict - BRENTFORD WIN
Brighton vs West Ham Match Prediction - Sunday 4pm
Two sides who have had good seasons, especially West Ham.
For the Seagulls, yes, they've had a couple of poor runs, but the Premier League is a tough decision.
It's clear that opposing managers really rate the job done by Graham Potter and the way his team plays football.
I hope Brighton fans don't start to take him for granted.
One of my pet hates in the Premier League is how quickly owners and Chief Executives look overseas for managers.
I really hope the tide is turning now and that owners start looking at the jobs done by the likes of Eddie Howe, Brendan Rodgers and David Moyes. The British and Irish managers can be good if given the chance.
Yes, they're not Klopp or Guardiola. But are they any worse than Benitez, Bielsa, Solskjaer or Arteta, etc? I don't think so.
David Moyes wasn't probably the first choice of most West Ham fans when appointed, but only a brainless one would complain now (I'm sure there is one out there somewhere, this is football after all).
Anyway, onto the match. Two good sides, West Ham the stronger, but Brighton have home advantage.
- Verdict - DRAW
Burnley vs Newcastle Match Prediction - Sunday 4pm
I'm concerned for Burnley. The defeat to Villa a couple of weeks back seems to have seen them revert back to type, and I have to admit to being surprised to see them get a point in the return match at Villa Park on Thursday.
Newcastle are flying. The run they've been on since Christmas is astonishing.
They currently sit in 12th position, and a win here with results going in their favour elsewhere, could see them finish in the top 10. No matter where they finish, it's an outstanding effort from Eddie Howe and his team.
On current form, I don't see Newcastle leaving Turf Moor with nothing.
- Verdict - DRAW
Chelsea vs Watford Match Prediction - Sunday 4pm
It's been a strange end to the season for Chelsea, and given they won the Club World Cup in February, it should actually be regarded as a success.
But, with how badly the season has ended for Chelsea, it will feel anything but.
Feel bad Chelsea fans? Then take a look at Watford.
Their season has been shocking. No matter what they've tried, it's gone wrong. It's almost like the 4-1 win over Man Utd last November was a turning point. But for the worse!
Both sides badly need the end of the season.
- Verdict - CHELSEA WIN
Crystal Palace vs Man Utd Match Prediction - Sunday 4pm
Another team that can't see the end of the season quickly enough is Manchester United.
New manager Erik ten Hag is going to be in the stands on Sunday. Will his presence finally get a reaction from this team? Who knows. It won't have an impact on the players leaving I suppose.
Palace managed to contrive to throw away 3 points at Goodison Park on Thursday. But overall it's been a good season for the Eagles and their new boss Patrick Viera.
I have a sneaky feeling for Man Utd to win this though. Lord knows why!
- Verdict - MAN UTD WIN
Leicester vs Southampton Match Prediction - Sunday 4pm
Another cracker to try and predict. Two inconsistent teams, and both with absolutely nothing to play for.
Saints fans seem to have turned on Ralph Hasenhüttl in recent weeks. Now I know they've been on a rough run of results. But Hasenhüttl lost his main striker in the summer, and at no point this season have the Saints got dragged into the relegation battle.
Personally, I don't get it. The Austrian has done a good job in my view.
Tough to predict the outcome here. Neither side may turn up, but I'll go with Leicester based on home advantage.
- Verdict - LEICESTER WIN
Liverpool vs Wolves Match Prediction - Sunday 4pm
The more I think about Tuesday's 2-1 win for Liverpool over Southampton, the more impressed I am.
With nine changes to the team that beat Chelsea on penalties in the FA Cup Final the previous Saturday, the Reds had no right to win that match.
As for Wolves, they've been woeful over the past few weeks. It could be a landslide at Anfield, but as you're about to read, it still won't be enough.
- Verdict - LIVERPOOL WIN
Man City vs Aston Villa Match Prediction - Sunday 4pm
The pressure is on Manchester City here, and unlike Liverpool, there's no back up trophy if this all goes wrong.
Yes, Villa is capable of getting a result, but I don't see it.
I can only go for a Man City win and another Premier League title.
- Verdict - MAN CITY WIN
Norwich vs Spurs Match Prediction - Sunday 4pm
Another match that isn't especially difficult to predict. Spurs have done the hard work, and they also got a nice helping hand from their north London rivals.
I just can't see Norwich putting up any resistance here, and even if they do, Spurs should at least get the draw they need.
I'm going for the Spurs win though.
- Verdict - SPURS WIN
