Football Gamblers match predictions - ahead of Matchweek 34, it's as you were at the top of the Premier League with both Man City and Liverpool winning in midweek. There is a full round of fixtures this weekend, with Man Utd vs Chelsea on Thursday an additional match we will preview after the weekend's matches are completed.

In the latest betting to win the Premier League, there is no real change in the odds. City are now 4/9, having been 2/5 last week. While Liverpool are now 13/8, having been 15/8 prior to their 4-0 win over Man Utd.

Arsenal vs Man Utd Match Prediction - Saturday 12.30pm

An interesting looking match to get the weekend's Premier League fixtures off and running, but an awful one to predict the outcome of.

Arsenal had been awful recently until they beat Chelsea on Wednesday night. As for Man United, where do I start?

Ralf Rangnick Premier League Predictions

They surely can't be as bad as they were last Tuesday? But they possibly could.

I'm stuck between the draw and an Arsenal win, but given their form prior to Wednesday, how can they be trusted?

They've practically chucked away fourth place in an awful April!

Two strange and difficult to predict teams.

  • Verdict - DRAW

Leicester vs Aston Villa Match Prediction - Saturday 3pm

Like the weekend's opening match, these two are also strange teams difficult to predict.

The Foxes may possibly have one eye on the upcoming Europa Conference League match, and that could help Villa. But what form do Villa have to speak of?

Really hard to call this game, but I think Leicester have been slightly better than Villa lately, so with home advantage as well, I'm going for a Leicester win.

  • Verdict - LEICESTER WIN

Man City vs Watford Match Prediction - Saturday 3pm

City needed the help of a couple of deflected goals to overcome nerves and see off Brighton on Wednesday.

I can see Watford trying to frustrate Pep's team and hoping to cash in on a nervy display, knowing that City know they can't afford any slips.

But I can't see it working, and I believe Watford are more certain to go down than even Norwich are.

  • Verdict - MAN CITY WIN

Norwich vs Newcastle Match Prediction - Saturday 3pm

The Canaries beat Burnley in their last match at Carrow Road, and they then ran Man Utd close at Old Trafford last weekend.

As for Newcastle, they've now won three in a row, and after looking relegation certainties at Christmas, now eye a top half finish in the table. Remarkable really.

I'm not sure Norwich will win back to back at home, so am therefore going for Newcastle to continue their remarkable ascent.

  • Verdict - NEWCASTLE WIN

Brentford vs Spurs Match Prediction - Saturday 5.30pm

The Bees have won four of their last five, and are now eyeing a Premier League top-half finish.

As for Spurs, they are still on course for a top 4 finish, but with Arsenal now level on points, they can't afford anymore slip ups like last Saturday's 1-0 home defeat to Brighton.

Their two main rivals for 4th place will already have played, and Spurs really need to cash in on one or both of them dropping points. There is also a slim chance Chelsea could now be caught given their recent poor form.

Overall, Spurs still looks the most consistent and in-form team of the trio chasing 4th place, and I'm taking them to beat Brentford.

  • Verdict - SPURS WIN

Brighton vs Southampton Match Prediction - Sunday 2pm

Brighton are all of a sudden the form team out of these two. Unlike the Merseyside Derby later in the day, I do believe this is more one of those Derby matches where form does go out of the window a little bit.

Brighton have just won back to back away to Arsenal and Spurs, and they also kept Man City at bay for over half the match at the Etihad on Wednesday. Who knows what would have happened without those two deflected goals.

As for Saints, a win over Arsenal last Saturday stopped the rot, but they followed that up with an awful loss at Burnley on Thursday.

I'm going with my gut feel here though, and that's telling me a draw.

  • Verdict - DRAW

Burnley vs Wolves Match Prediction - Sunday 2pm

Yet another hard match to call. Yes, Burnley has had a great couple of results since Sean Dyche was sacked. But Wolves should be a different proposition to what Southampton served up at Turf Moor on Thursday night.

The Clarets were the superior side against the Saints, and will no doubt now come into this match with renewed belief and optimism.

As for Wolves, might they start coasting? Possibly.

They've lost to both Leeds and Newcastle in their previous three matches. There is a home win over Aston Villa sandwiched in between those two defeats though.

For me, although Burnley will want the win, I feel psychologically they will take the point. They will expect Everton to get spanked at Anfield later in the day, and a draw will take them out of the bottom three.

  • Verdict - DRAW

Chelsea vs West Ham Match Prediction - Sunday 2pm

Even though Chelsea were poor at home to Arsenal on Wednesday, and have conceded a lot of goals in recent weeks, I still expect them to have too much for West Ham.

It's almost a given that the Hammers will have one eye on their Europa League semi-final with Eintracht Frankfurt on Thursday, and think this will play into the hands of the home side.

  • Verdict - CHELSEA WIN

Liverpool vs Everton Match Prediction - Sunday 4.30pm

Everton are 15/1 to win this match. Odds like that are rare in any Merseyside Derby, and it just shows exactly where these two teams are currently at.

To be honest, I expected Everton's odds to be longer!

Richarlison's 93rd minute equaliser at home to Leicester on Wednesday may prove to be crucial in this season’s relegation battle, but I don't see any points coming Everton's way in this particular Merseyside Derby.

  • Verdict - LIVERPOOL WIN

Crystal Palace vs Leeds Match Prediction - Monday 8pm

Which is the real blip for Palace? The recent two defeats in the Premier League? Or the five match unbeaten PL run that preceded those losses?

At this moment in time, I'm not sure. Overall though, Palace has had an excellent season in my view.

They have been transitioning from Roy Hodgson's more defensive based tactics, to Patrick Viera's more expansive style of play. I don't think this has been an easy thing to do, so it has to be regarded as a success.

As for Leeds, depending on results elsewhere, they may well be back in the mire by Monday night. They are still not safe, even after picking up 10 points from their last four matches.

It's hard to call this one, because if Burnley win it ratchets up the pressure on The Whites. If Burnley lose, they may play with added pressure.

I'll base my prediction on Burnley drawing and Everton losing, and I'm going for a draw.

  • Verdict - DRAW
