2021/22 Latest Premier League Winner Betting Odds
- Man City 8/11 (1.72)
- Chelsea 13/5 (3.60)
- Liverpool 4/1 (5.00)
- Man Utd 60/1 (61.0)
- West Ham 60/1 (61.0)
- Arsenal 90/1 (91.0)
- Tottenham 250/1 (251.0)
Matchweek 11 seen the bookmakers shorten Manchester City’s odds to win the league to 8/11.
Prior to City’s men teaching United’s boys a footballing lesson, the blue half of Manchester was 13/10, they are now odds on at 8/11.
Chelsea’s dropped points at home to Burnley, and Liverpool’s defeat to West Ham has seen them both drift in the betting.
Leicester vs Chelsea Match Prediction
- 12.30pm Saturday
The Foxes' mini-revival seems to have already been and gone. After back-to-back wins over Man Utd and Brentford, Leicester has since been undone by Arsenal and then held 1-1 by a struggling Leeds side.
Brendon Rodgers can get his side up for big games, as the win over Manchester United showed. It could also be argued that they were very unlucky against - an Arron Ramdale inspired - Arsenal, but the Leeds draw was disappointing.
Chelsea was held to a 1-1 draw by Burnley at Stamford Bridge in their last outing and will need to bounce back quickly.
Chelsea still has no Romelu Lukaku, but I still think they will win.
They will play a cagey game, and try and grind out a one goal win, something they have been good at under Tuchel.
- Verdict - Chelsea Win
Aston Villa vs Brighton Match Prediction
- 3pm Saturday
Steven Gerrard makes his first appearance at Villa Park as the Villains new boss.
He will have his work cut out here, as his side is on a five-match losing run.
Villa takes on a Brighton side that has only once in its last seven league games, and that was too Manchester City. I think we can forgive them that defeat!
- Verdict - Draw
Burnley vs Crystal Palace Match Prediction
- 3pm Saturday
Sean Dyche's side has taken 5 points from their last three matches, although they were very lucky to get a point at Stamford Bridge.
The Clarets seem to have got back to doing what they do best, and under normal circumstances, I would have no hesitation in calling a home win here.
The reason the circumstances aren't normal? The form of Crystal Palace!
Since losing 3-0 to Liverpool on 18th September, Palace has gone six matches unbeaten. Included in that run is a 2-2 draw at Arsenal, and a 2-0 win away to Man City.
Palace has won their last two. Bizarrely, isn't this just the sort of match Burnley win?
To hell with the circumstances, I'm going for a Burnley win!
- Verdict - Burnley Win
Newcastle vs Brentford Match Predictions
- 3pm Saturday
Well, is this the day? Brentford at home won't be easy, but surely if Newcastle is serious about staying up, they just have to win this match.
Newcastle welcomes Eddie Howe as manager to St James Park, and he will desperately want to start his tenure with a win.
The Toon Army has improved lately. They have only lost one of their last three, a run that includes away draws away at Crystal Palace and Brighton.
The defeat was 3-0 at home to Chelsea.
The fact is Newcastle has improved in recent weeks, while Brentford's form has been on the slide.
The Bees have now lost four matches in a row, including a 2-1 home defeat to Norwich in their last match.
I don't see the Bees winning at St James, famous last words, but I'm just not sure if it will be a home win or a draw!
The law of averages though says that Newcastle will win soon enough, as Norwich did, so I'm going for a Toon win.
- Verdict - Newcastle Win
Norwich vs Southampton Match Prediction
- 3pm Saturday
Can Norwich go back-to-back and give new manager Dean Smith a dream start? I'm not convinced.
Southampton is one of those sides that are there for the taking though, so I wouldn't be surprised if the Canaries win this.
The Saints have won three from four though, including their last two. The back-to-back wins came away to Watford, and at home to Villa.
All the stats (apart from wins) also say that Norwich is the worst side in the Premier League. They have the worst defence, and the worst attack as well - just 5 goals.
Form also says away win, and I have to go with that!
- Verdict - Southampton Win
Watford vs Man Utd Match Prediction
- 3pm Saturday
In their last 6 matches, Watford has won one, drawn one, and lost four. This includes back-to-back 1-0 defeats to Southampton and Arsenal in their last two.
In the middle of that six-match run came the 5-2 win away at Everton. The other five matches have yielded just one goal.
Where do you think the freak result lies?
As bad as Manchester United are, even they surely can't avoid winning against Watford on Saturday.
Ole's side was taken to the cleaners by Liverpool, then given a free pass by a pathetic Spurs side, and then indulged in damage limitation at home to Manchester City.
The majority of United fans are up in arms, especially for the way they just settled for the loss against Man City.
It wasn't exactly going down fighting was it? United accepted defeat early on, and then proceeded to engage in damage limitation.
Fans aren't stupid, and everyone could see the name of the game.
Despite the mess Ole is currently presiding over, United can't fail to win this. If they manage to lose, surely the time has come for a change at the top.
- Verdict - Man Utd Win
Wolves vs West Ham Match Prediction
- 3pm Saturday
Wolves seven-match unbeaten run came to an end at Selhurst Park pre international break.
They will be keen not to lose two on the bounce when they entertain the in-form West Ham.
The Hammers are up to third in the Premier League and have won four in a row. In their last match, they ended Liverpool's unbeaten run with a 3-2 win.
This is one of those matches that I believe will tell us plenty about West Ham. If they win it, they will surely have to be taken more than seriously for the top 4 this season.
Form says they should win, but I've a feeling Wolves will prove to be a tricky opposition.
- Verdict - Draw
Liverpool vs Arsenal Match Prediction
- 5.30pm Saturday
Jurgen's Reds are coming off the back of their first defeat since what seems like the turn of the century.
They are taking on an in-form Arsenal, who have won their last three, and are eight - yes, eight - matches unbeaten in the Premier League.
How about that for a stat!
Liverpool at home though! I can't see Arsenal's run continuing, but if it does, they have to also be taken seriously for the top 4.
And don't forget, Liverpool have to get past Superman in the Arsenal goal. I'm still going for a home win though!
- Verdict - Liverpool win
Man City vs Everton Match Prediction
- 2pm Sunday
Pep’s City team have caused our predictions a couple of problems this season.
At times City have been brilliant. The win away at Chelsea, the 2-2 draw at Liverpool, and the chastening run-around they gave Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Man Utd a couple of weeks back.
Mixed in with those exceptional performances has been City’s lucky 0-0 draw at home to Southampton, and their 2-0 defeat at home to Crystal Palace.
How can any tipster of match predictor legislate for that? You simply can’t!
Sunday’s opponents Everton are a side that are predictable at the moment…. predictably average!
They look like a club where you can predict what’s coming down the line, and I think this has been the case since the start of the season.
Benitez won’t be afforded time, he’s an ex-Liverpool manager!
I think things could get serious for Benitez this weekend. Will he adopt the let’s not get hammered approach? Or will he try and will he set his team up to try and leave the Etihad with something, and risk getting hammered. I’ll leave you to decide there!
Either way, in Rafa’s defence, I can’t see him winning no matter what he does on Sunday.
- Verdict - Man City Win
Spurs vs Leeds Match Prediction
I’ve seen that Harry Kane is one of the most transferred in players in the Fantasy Premier League this weekend, no doubt mainly on the back of his exploits for England in the international break.
Another reason for signing him, could be because of Leeds United’s dodgy defence.
This season Leeds have conceded 18 times. Only the bottom 5 and Leicester has conceded more, not even Man Utd (for the record, they’ve conceded 17).
Anyway, I just feel this fixture is perfect for Tottenham. Leeds are struggling, and they are there for the taking…. even against this meek Spurs outfit.
Yes, I fully expect Spurs to be totally different from the pathetic team that showed up that day against Man Utd, but they will still be a fragile Spurs.
I can’t see Leeds being in a position to take advantage of this, and I can only see a first Premier League win for Antonio Conte.
- Verdict - Spurs Win
