Free Premier League Predictions 15th September

Two more free Premier League predictions today (15th September), with Bournemouth hosting Everton, and Watford at home to Unai Emery’s Arsenal side.

Pretty difficult day for our free Premier League tips yesterday, with Manchester City’s loss away to Norwich, the biggest shock result of the football season so far.

I should have been more confident in Chelsea, and maybe I tried to be too smart with my draw prediction at Old Trafford, although there was good reason for tipping that.

Anyway, hopefully today, we can get back on track with a couple of winners.

Free Premier League Predictions 15th September

Bournemouth V Everton – Draw

Eddie Howe’s Bournemouth side have a win, a draw, and two defeats to their name so far this season. The two defeats have come at home to Man City, and away at Leicester, so it’s hard to criticise them for that.

Hard to know what to expect from the Cherries, and the same can be said for Everton on the road. At Goodison, form is consistent. Away, they are unpredictable.

So far this season, Everton have won both home matches, and drawn away at Crystal Palace, and lost pretty convincingly at Villa Park.

This one almost comes down to whom I mistrust the least. I can’t rely on Bournemouth, and I can’t trust Everton away. As is generally the case in the Premier League, it isn’t easy to win away, so for these reasons I’m going with the draw here.

Watford V Arsenal – Away Win

Will Watford get the immediate new manager bounce, with Quique Flores returning to the club, to replace the sacked Javi Gracia.

Arsenal already have a win on the road under their belts this season, having won 1-0 at Newcastle on the opening weekend.

Watford are anchored to the bottom of the table with just 1 point from 4 matches. Have to go with the Gunners on this one, especially with them being price up at around Even money, and better.

Free Premier League Predictions 14th September

The Premier League returns today after the first international break of the season, and Liverpool at home to Newcastle kicks off our free predictions for Saturday 14th September.

There can be a lethargic feel to Premier League fixtures after international breaks. Some players have had arduous trips across the globe and back, with some arriving back at their respective clubs late in the week, and probably a bit the worse for wear come the weekend.

Let’s hope that’s not the case, and we get plenty of exciting action across the weekend. There is 7 fixtures on Saturday, 2 on Sunday, with a Monday night match between Aston Villa and West Ham completing the weeekend. Here is our free Premier League predictions for Saturday.

Free Premier League Predictions 14th September

Liverpool V Newcastle – Home Win

Hard to make a case for Newcastle, but I probably said the same thing when they travelled to the new White Hart Lane a few weeks back.

The early fixture after an international break can sometimes be drab affairs after players travelling long distances.

I still expect a home win for the Reds, but it could be closer than we think.

Free Football Betting Predictions Liverpool
Liverpool host Newcastle at Anfield in the opening match of the weekend, and they are the first of our free premier league betting predictions for 14th September
Brighton V Burnley – Draw

Both these two teams have made solid starts to the season, with 4 points each from 4 games.

Brighton are still trying to get used to their adapted playing style under new Head Coach, Graham Potter, while we all know what we are going to get from Sean Dyche and Burnley.

The Clarets are hard to beat, and Brighton are still finding their way, so I’m going to go with the draw on this one.

Man Utd V Leicester – Draw

Another one of these close to call matches. In theory it should be a home win, but which United will turn up? They were inspirational against Chelsea in the opening match of the season, but the Blues turned up to play and left gaps for United to expose.

When United faced Palace, a side that were prepared to sit back and defend, they struggled. Brendan Rodger’s won’t have failed to notice this, and I can see his Leicester side causing United problems today. Going for the draw in this one.

Sheff Utd V Southampton – Home Win

5 points from 4 matches is a decent start to the season for the Blades. They’ve had a mixture of results, with a home defeat to Leicester sandwiched in between a win over Crystal Palace, and a credible draw away at Chelsea.

The Saints have had a similar start. After a couple of defeats in their first 2 matches, they have now picked up 4 points from their last 2 matches – a 2-0 win over Brighton and a 1-1 draw with Manchester United. I expect a tight match here, and am going for a closely fought 1-0 win for the Blades.

Tottenham V Crystal Palace – Home Win

Both these sides have had up and down starts to the season, meaning form is fairly unpredictable. In their last outing Spurs – arguably – chucked away a 2 goal lead at the Emirates, which followed on from a disappointing 1-0 home defeat to Newcastle.

For all the doom and gloom surrounding Palace after their opening 2 matches, they now sit 4th in the table following wins over Manchester United and Aston Villa.

Can’t see Palace winning here, so it’s between a home win and a draw for me. I’m coming down slightly on the side of home win.

Wolves V Chelsea – Draw

This looks a great fixture on paper, and would probably have made a decent live TV match. No doubt it will be a drab 0-0 draw after that prediction.

Anyway, a really hard one to predict. Wolves tend to do well against the big sides, and Chelsea look to have the beating of anyone of their day. This one could go either way, so I’m going for a scoring draw.

Norwich V Man City – Away Win

When it comes to Man City and Liverpool matches, it’s a bit of a procession when it comes to predictions. It’s pretty easy to predict a City win, but for 95% of the matches in the Premier League involving Pep’s team, how can you not.

For sure, they will slip up from time to time, but apart from when City and Liverpool play each other, it’s hard to predict anything other than wins for the big 2.

All I can predict for this one is a Man City win. I expect Norwich to take the match to Man City, so there could be a lot of goals in this one. Don’t rule out over 5.5 goals in this one, or a high scoring overs bet coming in.

Free Premier League Predictions 1st September

Everton V Wolves – Home Win

The Toffees will be looking to bounce back from their first Premier League defeat of the season – away to Aston Villa last weekend – when they take on Wolves at Goodison Park.

Everton’s home form has been excellent of late, and with Wolves having just done the dreaded Thursday night shift in the Europa League, it’s hard to see past a home win.

Arsenal V Spurs – Draw

The final Premier League fixture before the international break, and an equally as intriguing, as it difficult, match to call.

I can see both teams scoring, but am finding it hard to pick a winner. Arsenal look in the slightly better place, and have home advantage. But I’m sitting on the fence with a draw here.

Free Premier League Predictions

Saturday 31st August

Southampton V Man Utd – Away Win

The Saints put up a more than impressive show in their last home match, a 2-1 defeat to Liverpool, but I don’t see them beating United today.

The Red Devils are better suited to playing on the counter attack. They dropped points at home to Palace last weekend, but the Eagles came to defend. Southampton will take the game to United more, and with the pace of Martial and Rashford, etc, I expect United to get the 3 points.

Chelsea V Sheff Utd – Home Win

Frank Lampard’s Chelsea are fast becoming my favourite team to watch in the Premier League. A young attacking side, dodgy at the back, they are very entertaining to watch. It’s also great to see a young English manager given a chance at a big club.

Sheffield United have won, lost, and drawn their opening three matches. A position they would probably have happily accepted at the start of the season.

The bubble slightly burst in the home defeat to Leicester last Saturday, but it was always going to happen in the Premier League.

I can see the Blades scoring today, both teams to score could be a decent bet. But overall I can only predict a Chelsea win.

Crystal Palace V Aston Villa – Home Win

Palace had a great win last weekend, as did Aston Villa. To be honest, this match could go either way today, but I’m going for Palace.

The Eagles are at home, and Villa are inexperienced in the Premier League. A very tight call this one, but I’m playing safe with the home team.

Leicester V Bournemouth – Home Win

The Foxes are looking impressive this season, and I expect them to pick up another 3 points today. Leicester had a decent win away at Sheffield United last weekend, and they were very unlucky to only leave Stamford Bridge with a point.

I seem to remember writing on Week 2 that Bournemouth don’t travel very way, and they went and won 2-1 at Villa Park. I’m sticking to that theory today!

Man City V Brighton – Home Win

Not really much I can say about this one, can anybody make a case for Brighton? City are 1/9, and I’ve seen 35/1 available on Brighton.

The only chance the Seagulls might have, is I imagine Pep might do a bit of rotating, and bring in some of the rubbish back up players he has. Donkeys like Mahrez, Jesus, Foden etc.

Newcastle V Watford – Draw

Could go either way this one, a very tough match to predict. Both teams are desperate for a win, both teams are at the bottom of the Premier League table, and both managers are already under pressure. A match neither side can afford to lose, which is why I’m going for the draw.

West Ham V Norwich – Home Win

Since the opening day thrashing at the hands of Man City, the Hammers have done well with 4 points from two away matches. A draw away at Brighton, was followed with an away win at Watford.

Norwich have started well with 3 points from their opening three matches. Their two defeats have been at the hands of Liverpool and Chelsea, nothing to be upset about there.

That said, I’m going for Premier League experience today, and expect the Hammers to come out on top.

Burnley V Liverpool – Away Win

A lot of pundits have noted that the Reds haven’t started the season as fluently as they were last season, while it’s been a decent start for Burnley, with 4 points from 3 matches.

It’s still hard to make a case for Burnley, and it would take a very brave man to back the Clarets to pull off a shock victory today. I wouldn’t totally rule out the draw, but this is the sort of match Klopp’s team have to be winning if they are serious about winning the Premier League this season.

Free Premier League Predictions

Saturday 24th August

Norwich V Chelsea – Away Win

The Premier League’s top goalscorer, Norwich’s Teemu Pukki, comes up against Chelsea’s misfiring Tammy Abraham. On paper it looks like a mismatch. Fortunately for Chelsea, it shouldn’t come down to a straight shootout between the two.

Norwich followed up their decent second half at Anfield with a good win over Newcastle last weekend. While Chelsea have performed well at times in all their matches this season, but have failed to sustain it for 90 minutes. Tough one to call, this is, but I’m going for Chelsea to finally secure 3 points under Lampard.

Brighton V Southampton – Draw

Brighton have had an excellent start to the season, with 4 points from their opening two matches. The Saints on the other hand have zero points, but there were good signs in last weekend’s 2-1 home defeat to Liverpool.

Another tough one to call, but I’m going for honours even in this one.

Man Utd V Crystal Palace – Home Win

Easy call this one, Palace have had a woeful start to the season, and can’t see it get any better for them at Old Trafford this weekend. Let’s just hope we don’t need United to score a penalty for our home win predictions to come to fruition.

Sheffield Utd V Leicester – Draw

Another tough one to call at this early stage of the season. Leicester put in a brilliant second half away at Stamford Bridge against Chelsea last Sunday, and were unlucky to not leave with all 3 points.

On the same day, Sheffield United gained a good home win over Crystal Palace, and at this stage of the season with the feel good factor at Bramall Lane in full flow, it would be brave to back against the Blades.

Watford V West Ham – Draw

Could be a good day for a roll up of draws, as this is yet another one of those fixtures that is hard to call. Watford are bottom of the league table with zero points, but any team in the Premier League is hard to beat at home.

West Ham are not faring much better. They started with a home thrashing at the hands on Manchester City, before gaining a credible 1-1 draw away to Brighton at the Amex last Saturday.

Liverpool V Arsenal – Home Win

After all the draws so far in today’s football predictions, we are now going for a home win. Yes, Arsenal have had a good start to the season, but this is a real test for the Gunners. Will be interesting to see how this one turn out, and we will quickly find out whether the Gunners are the real deal or not.

That said, this is predicting, and we can only really predict a home win for this one.

Free Premier League Predictions 17/18/19th August

The second weekend of the 2019/20 Premier League season starts with Arsenal V Burnley, and here is our free Premier League Predictions for the weekend of 17th, 18th and 19th of August.

Free Premier League Predictions

Saturday 17th August

Arsenal V Burnley – Home Win – The Gunners got their season off to a good start away at Newcastle last Sunday. It’s hard to see anything more than another 3 points for the Gunners.
Aston Villa V Bournemouth – Home Win – Villa held their own for a decent amount of the match against Spurs. I expect them to be too strong at home for a Bournemouth side who don’t travel too well.
Brighton V West Ham – Home Win – Brighton got off to a great start last weekend winning away at Watford, and I can see them continuing that form when West Ham visit. The Hammers will be licking their wounds after last weekend’s hammering.
Everton V Watford – Home Win – I expect Everton to be too strong for Watford at Goodison, can see nothing but a home win.
Norwich V Newcastle – Draw – There was no disgrace for Newcastle losing at home to Arsenal last Sunday. While Norwich recovered well at Anfield on Friday, to show that they might be a touch more competitive than we first expected they would be in the Premier League. Looking at a hard fought draw here.
Southampton V Liverpool – Away Win – Saints struggled for parts of last season, and got off to an awful start away at Burnley last Saturday. Even though Liverpool had a punishing night in Istanbul on Wednesday, I still see them having too much for Southampton.
Man City V Tottenham – Home Win – Can anyone really see anything other than a Man City win here? I can’t. Spurs play a style that I believe suits City. Meaning and I can see Sterling and co cutting Spurs open on a regular basis.

Sunday 18th August

Sheffield United V Crystal Palace – Home Win – Utd got a decent point away at Bournemouth on Saturday, and I expect their bright start to the season to continue when Palace visit Yorkshire. Can’t see the Eagles getting anything here.
Chelsea V Leicester – Home Win – Despite losing convincingly to Man Utd last Sunday, and failing to win the Super Cup on Wednesday, I have been quite impressed with Chelsea. I expect their young attacking side to be too much for Leicester.

Monday 20th August

Wolves V Man Utd – Draw Wolves capitalised on an under strength United to win 2-1 in the corresponding fixture last season. I expect the Red Devils to be much stronger this season, and am going for a draw here.

Football Betting Predictions – Man Utd V Chelsea

Football Betting Predictions – Man Utd V Chelsea. I can’t decide whether this match has come too early in the season, or if I should be excited about such a mouth watering fixture on the opening weekend of the season.

Ole’s United team with it’s exciting new signings, up against Frank Lampard’s improvised Chelsea team with no help from the transfer market.

Don’t get me wrong when I say improvised, as it might be one of the best thing to have happened to Chelsea. All of a sudden, the Blues have to play the likes of Tammy Abraham, and can call on the resources of the previously loaned out Kurt Zouma.

Best Football Betting Sites

Football Betting Predictions Man Utd V Chelsea
Tammy Abraham will be looking to make his first full season at Chelsea a good one

Despite the transfer ban, being able to bring back the likes of Abraham and Zouma should lesser the blow. Yes, it would be nice to be able to go out and buy a replacement for the departed Eden Hazard, but with that not possible, Chelsea will have to make do.

It will also open the door to exciting youngsters like Callum Hudson-Odoi. It’s such a shame that the young winger got injured at the end of last season, especially after making the breakthrough into Gareth Southgate’s England squad.

And what of Man United? Well I believe they’ve made some decent signings. Adding Harry Maguire and Aaron Wan-Bissaka will have shored them up at the back.

Whatever anybody thinks of Maguire’s price, and yes I agree, it’s overpriced, he will improve their defence. And in a similar way to Rio Ferdinand back in the day, will be worth the money in the long run.

Ole Gunnar Solskjær’s other major signing in the summer is speed merchant Daniel James, bought from Swansea City. It remains to be seen if James will start this weekend, but he is one to look out for, for the future.

Man Utd V Chelsea Football Betting Predictions

Man Utd – 11/10
Draw – 9/4
Chelsea – 13/5

  • The bookies are make Man Utd favourites, but judging by the odds that looks solely down to the fact the Red Devils are at home.
  • Despite both teams looking a bit of unknown quantities and United shoring up the back, I struggle to see clean sheets here.
  • Judging by his time at Derby, I expect Chelsea to play open attacking football under Lampard. This should lead to chances at both ends of the field.

Football Betting Predictions

Match Outcome – Too hard to call, so looking at the draw today.
Value TipBoth teams to score looks a good shout today, it’s at 4/5 with some bookies. Also, I’m going to have a small nibble at a bit of 2-2.

Football Betting Predictions – West Ham V Man City

Football Betting Predictions: West Ham host Champions Man City at the London Stadium, in what promises to be a interesting start to the season for Pep’s Manchester City team.

The corresponding fixture for the last two seasons has seen City winning 4-0 and 4-1. Despite this, I believe that as an opening fixture, this match will provide a stern test for City.

The Hammers will be full of optimism for the new season. They have signed Sebastien Haller from Eintracht Frankfurt as a replacement for Marko Arnautovic – a change that might prove to be better for team harmony, if nothing else.

Another new addition is Pablo Fornals, who was signed from Villareal, and is another exciting attacking option, that the West Ham fans will be excited to see in action.

In short, I expect there to be a positive attitude from the fans at the London Stadium today, and it could well be a good yard stick to judge City on for the upcoming season.

Best Football Betting Sites

City have just announced that David Silva as the new club captain, in the wake of Vincent Kompany’s departure for Anderlecht. Pep only made two major summer signing, João Cancelo from Juventus (in a swap for Danilo), and Rodrigo Hernández Cascante (who will be known more simply as just Rodri or Rodrigo).

Cancelo is an interesting signing, as he predominately plays in the same position as Kyle Walker. Guardiola has made no secret of his belief that attacking full backs are an important part of his footballing philosophy, and spending another £60 Million on a full back not guaranteed a first team start, further underlines this fact.

Rodri on the other hand is more of a defensive midfielder, and is reported (in the media at least) to be the heir apparent to the ageing Fernandinho (who was 34 last May).

Football Betting Predictions West Ham Man City
Can City’s new signing make an immediate impact on the Premier League?

Rodri is just 23 years of age, and it will be interesting to see if he immediately steps into the Brazilian’s shoes, or if it is a gradual changeover.

West Ham V Man City Betting Odds

Man City – 1/4
Draw – 6/1
West Ham 23/2

For the first match of the season and with a bit of the unknowns, City at 1/4 is very short. Yes, they could well go there and win 4 or 5-0, and that would be no surprise. Is it real value away from home in the first match of the season, against a side that could well be pushing for the top 8 this season?

I’m not sure it is, waiting a bit for an in-running bet might be more worthwhile. If City score early on, that opportunity will obviously be gone, but that’s the risk you take.

West Ham at effectively eleven and a half to one, look slightly too long to me. I still couldn’t back it though, as I don’t truly see the Hammers winning. The draw could be an interesting shout at 6/1 though.

West Ham V Man City – Football Betting Predictions

– Match Outcome – I’m going for a draw today, as I think it is a good outside punt at 6/1. Yes, City could be 3 up at half time, but I can’t back them to win at 1/4, so I’m going for a small stakes bet on the draw at 6/1.
– Value Tip – Assuming all goes wrong with my match outcome tip and City do run away with it, I think 19/10 on City to score 2 or more in the fist half with Coral doesn’t look a bad bet.

  • West Ham are a bit of an unknown quantity with a couple of decent new signings. With City at just 1/4, the draw at 6/1 looks better value.
  • City could well run away with things if normal service resumes. So City to score 1.5 Goals or over in first half, or 2.5 Goals or over, could be a good value side bet.

Football Betting Predictions – Liverpool V Norwich

Football Betting Predictions: The Premier League is back this weekend, and last season’s runners up and European champions Liverpool get proceedings under way at home to Norwich.

This will be the Reds first home league fixture since becoming European champions, and it is a daunting task facing new boys Norwich, who could hardly have landed a more difficult fixture first up on their return to the top flight.

Liverpool haven’t made any major signings over the summer, and have let go the likes of Daniel Sturridge. Without Sturridge, the likes of Divock Origi will get more game time, and Klopp will be expecting to see his Belgian striker pushing the front three this season for a starting space.

There is clearly strength in depth in the Liverpool squad, and manager Jurgen Klopp will be looking at the return of players like Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain as new signings.

Liverpool also have players of the calibre of Naby Keïta, who only joined last season, but didn’t have a massive impact – and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain returning from injury, to call upon.

If players like Keïta and Oxlade-Chamberlain can do a job for Liverpool this season, Klopp might well claim that he was justified in not spending big to strengthen his squad.

Can Naby Keita take the Premier League by storm this season?

For their part, Norwich are still using the bulk of the players that got them up last season. Manager Daniel Farke wants to show faith in the majority of the players that got him up. There was a strong emphasis at Norwich on attacking play last season, with 93 goals scored.

At the same time, the Canaries also conceded 57 goals in the Championship. It’s hard to see with a defensive record like that how Norwich can stay up. It’s also a sign that Liverpool might put the Premier League new boys to the sword at Anfield on Friday.

Liverpool V Norwich Betting

Obviously the odds on a Liverpool win are very short. Klopp’s men are just 2/13 to get their campaign off to a winning start. The draw – arguably Norwich’s best chance of getting something – is 9/1, with a win for the visitors coming in at a massive looking 22/1.

Liverpool V Norwich – Football Betting Predictions

– Match Outcome – Can’t see anything other than a Liverpool win at 2/13.
– Value Tip – For a bit of value, over 3.5 goals is Even money. This game has a look of 3-1 about it.

  • Liverpool were unbeaten at Anfield in the league last season, winning 17, and drawing 2. The Red’s home ground has become a fortress, and it’s nearly impossible to see Norwich breach this.
  • Norwich conceded 57 goals in last season’s Championship, meaning that goals are likely for Liverpool.

Football Betting Predictions Liverpool V Chelsea

Football Betting Predictions – The Premier League title and top 4 will go a long way to being decided when Liverpool face Chelsea this weekend.

Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool can’t afford any more slip ups in the race for the title, while Chelsea need to get something to keep in with a chance of finishing inside the top 4.

Even though a win for Liverpool is vital, a Manchester City win is far from assured this weekend. Pep’s team travel to Crystal Palace, City only managed a 0-0 draw at Selhurst Park last season, and they lost at home to the Eagles 3-2 this season.

In the fixture between Chelsea and Liverpool earlier this season, the Blues were unlucky to only come away with a point. After having the better of the fixture, Daniel Sturridge scored a late equaliser to deny Chelsea all three points, with the match finishing all square at 1-1.

Liverpool V Chelsea Betting Predictions

  • Even though I believe Chelsea’s odds look a touch too long at 4/1, it is still hard to see anything other than a Liverpool win.
  • It’s very hard to see Chelsea winning the match, given recent patchy form. Beware the draw though.
  • Eden Hazard has been in scintillating form lately, and could be a good bet to be man of the match.
  • Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah has shown signs of a return to form lately. He could be a good shout to be an anytime goalscorer today.
