Arsenal and Chelsea meet on Wednesday for the right to face Manchester City in the final of the Carabao Cup, and we’re all hoping for a more exciting 2nd leg, than we got in the first game. The match is live on Sky Sports (kicking-off at 8pm), and Betfair have a great new customers offer available on the match.
Don’t forget that as this is a cup competition, this offer is a 90 minutes only offer. So if the match finishes 2-2 after 90 minutes, and goes to an extra 30 minutes extra time, the bet will be classed as a draw, no matter what happens in the additional 30 minutes.
The tie is all square at 0-0 after the 1st leg, it’s all to play for. Both sides played a cagey match at Stamford Bridge a couple of weeks back, but I’m sure that this match will be a lot more open, and will hopefully have a lot more chances, and a few goals.
Monday night it’s the turn of in form Liverpool, and Betfair are running a great new customers offer if you think the Red’s can keep their magnificent form going against struggling Swansea City. The match is live on Sky Sports, kicking off at 8pm.
Liverpool are fresh from a thrilling 4-3 victory over Manchester City, and they are in red hot form at the moment, pardon the pun. In 90 minutes betting, Betfair have Liverpool as 3/10 favourites. The draw is 9/2, and a Swansea win is 11/1.
United are 1/5 to win, the draw is 13/2, and an unlikely Stoke victory is a massive looking 17/1. Stoke are in the midst of a dismal run, and only last weekend they sacked Mark Hughes from his job as manager, after the 2-1 FA Cup defeat away at League 2 Coventry.
Sometimes a club gets a lift after getting rid of a manager, or appointing a new one, but I don’t see this happening here. A good result for Stoke here would be a 1-0 defeat with a good showing, giving them something to build on. I just don’t see them getting any better.
With Tottenham winning again on Saturday, Top 4 Finish Betting is hotting up as the gap between 2nd and 5th places shortens. For this reason alone, United could do with all 3 points on Monday.
It’s being billed as the match of the season so far. The two attacking forces that are Liverpool and Manchester City meet live on Sky Sports today (4pm kick-off, watch here with a NowTV day pass), and Betfair have a multi choice new customers offer.
Neither of these two sides focus much on defensive duties. This match looks likely to resemble a basketball match, with both sides just going from end to end. With home advantage, Liverpool have an added advantage, and many think this could be the day City’s unbeaten run can come to an end.
Betfair Offers For Existing Customers
If you’re having a treble or larger bet on today’s football, or any football in the future, then check out Betfair Acca Edge. If you’re prepared to take slightly shorter odds with acca edge, you get your money back in cash, if one leg of your treble (or larger bet) lets you down. Betfair acca edge is available to both new and existing customers, even if you are only opening a new account today.
After a break for the FA Cup last weekend, the Premier League is back, and Betfair are leading the way with the new customer offers, with their massively enhanced odds accumulator of 100/1 on 4 of the top 6 to win.
This 4-fold currently pays 8.23 on Betfair for a £1.00 bet, so it has been enhanced more than 10 fold. Chelsea, Tottenham and Arsenal all look good value for wins this weekend, the only fly in the ointment is Manchester City are Liverpool’s opponents, but if City are to lose a game this season, this could well be the one.
Liverpool have home advantage, and they are currently in a rich vein of form. City struggled to get past Bristol City on Wednesday night in the Carabao Cup, so now could be the time for their unbeaten run to come to an end.
If you are considering using this offer, bear in mind that the Liverpool V City match is the last up on the 4-fold. So if the other 3 have already all won, you would be able to have a little side bet on the draw, and a City win, and you would then be guaranteed a profit no matter what the outcome at Anfield.
The FA Cup continues across the weekend, and the two Premier League North London giants, Arsenal and Tottenham are both in action on Sunday afternoon.
Both are in action against lower league opposition, with Tottenham at home to AFC Wimbledon (3pm), and Arsenal away at Nottingham Forest (kick-off at 4pm). There is 4 FA Cup matches in total on Sunday, and La Liga is back action in Spain, meaning there are accumulator betting opportunities.
The odds on Tottenham to beat Wimbledon for existing Betfair customers is 1/8, the draw is 8/1, and a win for AFC Wimbledon is 25/1. You would have to imagine that home advantage for Spurs should be enough to see them through, even if they make numerous changes.
Forest are 14th in the Championship, and just last week they relieved Mark Warburton of his duties as manager. They haven’t won any of their last 5, although their last result was a credible 0-0 draw away to Leeds.
With form like that though, it would be a big call to see them upsetting Arsenal, even if the Gunners make wholesale changes. Arsenal are 4/7 to win, the draw is 17/5, and if you think Forest can cause an upset, them you can get 9/2 on them with Betfair.
Liverpool take on Everton in the FA Cup tonight, kick-off is at 7.55pm, and this is a rare live TV match on the BBC. Liverpool start the match as 4/9 favourites with William Hill, Everton are 8/1, and the draw is 18/5.
With this being a very high profile TV match, there is a few decent new customer offers. Starting with Coral who have a great offer on a Yellow Card being shown……..
I expect there may be a few changes in personnel for tonight’s match, Liverpool have already stated there will be no Coutinho and Mohamad Salah, although Big Sam was saying on Thursday that given Everton’s league position, that they are able to give the FA Cup a real go, so maybe changes to Everton’s team might be limited.
If Liverpool do make wholesale changes the 55/1 on Everton from 888Sport will look mighty appealing.
There is a full round of FA Cup 3rd Round fixtures over the weekend, so make sure you have a decent acca insurance offer in place if you’re placing an accumulator over the weekend.
Manchester City are back in action tonight, just over 48 hours after dropping points for only the second time this season, when they drew 0-0 away at Crystal Palace on Sunday.
They are at home to struggling Watford, and it’s probably the ideal match to get back to winning ways, given Watford’s form of late. The bad run they have been on recently was further compounded when they managed to lose 2-1 at home to Swansea on Saturday.
City are a general 2/11 to beat Watford tonight, with the draw at 15/2, and Watford at 17/1. If you are happy to open a new Betfair account though, you can get a massively boosted price on City.
City’s front line looks set to be led by Sergio Aguero, after fellow South American striker, Gabriel Jesus, picked up a serious looking injury in the 0-0 draw with Palace. In Anytime Goalscorer Betting, Aguero is a best price of 4/9 to find the net at anytime with William Hill. Raheem Sterling also looks set for a recall this evening, and he can be backed at 4/5 to score in the 90 minutes.
Manchester City will be looking to continue their 100% record tonight and maintain their favourites tag in the Premier League Winner Betting, when they host Everton at the Etihad in the first Monday Night Football of the new season.
City will be looking to consolidate on their solid 2-0 victory over Brighton on the opening weekend, and with fellow Mancunian’s United, already looking incredibly strong, they will already know that they can’t afford many slips at home – in particular – this season.
City are a best price of 1/3 with bet365 to be victorious tonight (unless you are opening a new Betfair account that is), the draw is 5/1 with Betfair, and Everton are 11/1 (also with Betfair).
The match is live on Sky Sports, and if you want to watch it without the aid of illegal streams, or without getting bogged down in a Sky contract, you can purchase a day pass from Now TV, and save yourself a lot of money in the long run.
With the Premier League now fully up and running don’t forget to check out our Acca Insurance page for the best offers. La Liga in Spain is now up and running, and with the German Bundesliga soon to start, mainstream European football will soon be up to speed again.
