Bookmakers List

Bookmakers these days need to offer us football gambling punters a bit more than odds for football matches at the weekend. It is a competitive world out there at the moment and as a result the bookmakers have to keep pushing the boundaries to give us a reason to use them.

I currently use and would gladly recommend four bookmakers. All four offer plenty of incentives, like live football coverage of some of Europe’s top leagues for free, price boosts, free bets for existing customers, cash backs, and a cash out option.

Recommended Bookmakers – UK Bookmakers and Irish Bookmakers

William Hill – £25.00 Free Bet for new customers, live TV coverage, Cash Out facility, 0-0 Bore Draw refund, Acca Insurance, Goal Scorer second chance money back, and regular free goes in their Casino.

Bet365 – £200.00 sign up offer, live TV coverage, regular £50.00 Free Bet for existing customers, 0-0 Bore Draw refund, 100% Euro Soccer Bonus, and £50.00 cash back for new or existing customers on their first mobile or tablet bet.

Paddy Power – £50.00 Free Bet for new customers, live TV coverage, occasional Free Bets credited every few weeks or months, cash back specials every week, and odds on just about anything that moves.

Betfred – £25.00 Free Bet for new customers, 1-a-Piece Offer, and Double Delight and Hat-Trick Heaven are Betfred’s major promotional offers.

Australian Bookmakers

There is a growing number of online bookmakers who predominately cater for the Australian and Australasian markets. Giving prices in Australian Dollars, and taking bets on local Australian sporting fixtures and events.

Sportsbet – $150 AUD Free Bet. Sportsbet has operated in Australia since 1993, in 2010 Paddy Power completed a takeover of the company.

Sportingbet – $200 AUD Free Bet. William Hill acquired Sportingbet Australia in 2013 as they look to expand their betting empire further around the world.

Ladbrokes Australia – $250 AUD First Deposit Match Up Bonus. As one of the leading bookmakers in the UK, Ladbrokes also have aspirations to be a global brand, so they operate Ladbrokes.com.au as the Australian arm of the overall Ladbrokes PLC group.

Luxbet – Deposit $10.00, Get $30.00 AUD. Luxbet were launched in September 2008 and are owned and managed by Tabcorp Holdings.

Betting Exchanges

Betfair – The most liquid betting exchange on the market.

Betdaq – Currently trying to compete with Betfair, Betdaq are a growing brand who were purchased by Ladbrokes in early 2013. With the betting giant now behind the brand, I expect them to emerge as serious competition to Betfair.
