Harry Kane penalty seals the 3 points and puts the pressure back on Arsenal

Antonio Conte's Spurs team beat Burnley 1-0 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium earlier today to move into fourth position in the table.

Harry Kane was again the match winner for Spurs. The in-form striker scored the only goal of the game from the penalty spot after 8 minutes of 1st half stoppage time.

As for Burnley, it was a gritty display with no reward. And with Leeds getting a point against Brighton, Mike Jackson's side now find themselves back in the bottom three.

Nervy Spurs get the Job Done

It was a nervy looking display from Tottenham, and there was certainly none of the euphoria that accompanied Thursday night's win over Arsenal.

It was one of those occasions when the result is all that matters, and the performance is secondary.

All Spurs can do is win their fixtures and hope Arsenal slip up. That's the first 3 points collected, and now for Spurs, it's onto their final fixture of the season next weekend away at Norwich.

Next for the Gunners is an away trip to St James Park to face Newcastle on Monday night.
