A scintillating performance from Manchester City put the pressure back on Liverpool ahead of the Merseyside Derby, thanks in the main to four goals from City striker, Gabriel Jesus.
Jesus opened the scoring in just the 4th minute, and he doubled his tally with the second after 23 minutes. Watford did pull a goal back after 28 minutes, to make it 2-1. But once Rodri fired in City's spectacular third after 34 minutes, the contest was over.
City, or to be more precise, Gabriel Jesus, added two more early in the 2nd half. This allowed manager Pep Guardiola the luxury of withdrawing the likes of Kevin De Bruyne early on, with an eye on the upcoming Champions League semi-final with Real Madrid.
The Brazilian striker was linked with a move to Arsenal in the week, and as one cheeky commenter on YouTube pointed out, it had the desired effect on Jesus by inspiring his 10 out of 10, player of the match performance.

The win sees City go four points clear of the Red, and it's now up to Jurgen Klopp's team to beat Everton at Anfield on Sunday.
