Given all the illness and injuries currently at Liverpool, it is great testament to the squad that Jurgen Klopp and co have built, that they just keep on grinding out results.
It's what champions do, and Liverpool keep on doing it!
A win today sees Liverpool through to the Round of 16 with two matches to spare.
And I've no doubt Klopp will be going flat out for the win, so that he can focus on the league for the rest of the year.

The Italians have gone flat
In the reverse fixture three weeks back, Atalanta never really got going.
The 5-0 defeat they suffered that night has been followed up by a couple of lacklustre draws in Serie A.
In truth, they're not looking anything like the free scoring side they were last season.
Liverpool vs Atalanta betting
- Liverpool 8/13 – The Draw 17/5 – Atalanta 4/1
- Over 2.5 Goals 4/9 – Under 2.5 Goals 2/1
- Over 3.5 Goals 11/10 – Under 3.5 Goals 4/5
- Both Teams To Score – Yes 9/20 – No 7/4
Odds of 8/13 on Liverpool to win at home are a bit longer than I would have expected them to do. Could this be down to the injury and illness crisis?
Maybe, but Liverpool have already shown they are capable of dealing with this.
These odds are saying that the Italians are a far better side than their performance in Bergamo three weeks back, suggested they are.
And I would have to agree with that.
Liverpool vs Atalanta Prediction 25/11/20
On current form it's hard to see past a Liverpool win, and how could you argue with that?
Yes, Liverpool will slip up at home one day soon. There is always the anomaly match somewhere along the line, that no one sees coming.
We can't avoid backing Liverpool based on that theory though.
Prediction – Both Teams To Score @ 11/10 with Betfair
Liverpool to win with over 1.5 goals in the match is 1.71, while a Reds win with over 2.5 goals is 1.95.
Dwarfing both of those multi bets is the 8/5 available on Liverpool to win at -1 on the Handicap market.
The chances are if Liverpool win, they will win by a couple, so I'm happy to take the risk.
And after yesterday's three from three with my Champions League tips, I can afford to go for a slightly riskier bet.
