This will be Man Utd's fourth home Premier League match of the season, and they are yet to win one yet. This is quite an amazing statistic for a club the size of Manchester United.
For Arsenal, they have three wins from six matches this season, and sit mid table.
Man Utd must be due a home win
United must be due a home win surely? How much longer can they go without picking up 3 points at Old Trafford?
Their three matches at the Theatre of Dreams in the Premier League this season has seen them lose 3-1 to Crystal Palace, 6-1 to Spurs, and draw 0-0 with Chelsea.
The Chelsea performance was that of a team lacking in confidence, and going back to basics, in that they were more focused on not losing.
The away win at Newcastle, along with the two impressive Champions League victories have shown that not losing to Chelsea was indeed a very good result for Solskjaer. It was just one part of the process of rebuilding confidence.
Man Utd V Arsenal Odds
Man Utd Evens - The Draw 27/10 - Arsenal 14/5
United's two losses this season have both come at home, and maybe that's why they are Even money to win a match that up until the last two years, United have generally won with ease.
Same old Arsenal I'm afraid
For Arsenal, what has changed? I don't know how many times I've heard they look a better side under Mikel Arteta.
And maybe that's true. But in fairness, Pep's former assistant was starting from a very low point. So to be better than what they previously were, isn't what I would call a huge amount of progress.
Defeats away to Liverpool and Man City this season have shown that Arsenal are still well short of the bigger clubs when it comes to starting XIs.
They had been beating the best of the rest with relative ease up until last weekend, but that run came to an abrupt end with a 1-0 home defeat to Leicester City.
Such is the way with Arsenal, would it be a huge shock to see them go and turn form on it's head and win at Old Trafford today? Probably not.
But for this match, I'm going to be making my prediction based on form!
Man Utd V Arsenal Prediction 1/11/20
Prediction - Man Utd to win @ Even money with Betfair
I just think that United are slowly turning the corner. The 0-0 draw at home to Chelsea last weekend was the first step to redemption after the 6-1 drubbing from Spurs.
Today could finally be the day United win at home in the Premier League this season.
No beating around the bush on this one, I fancy Man Utd to win. Even money on United look good enough odds to me, meaning I'm going with that.
