Sheffield United V Man City

A bit like with my Burnley V Chelsea prediction, I'm a also a bit torn on this one.

Gut instinct points to a City win, but they've been stuttering badly in the Premier League this season.

City are up against a Sheffield United side who were my tip to go down at the start of the season.

Despite this, I have noticed a significant improvement in the performances from Chris Wilder's side. Even it's not been reflected in their recent results.

Sheffield United V Man City Odds

Sheffield United 9/1 - The Draw 5/1 - Man City 1/4

Odds of 9/1 on United to win at home are more a reflection of Sheffield's 1 point and 3 goals from six matches, than it is of Manchester City's performances this season.

City have won two, drawn two and lost one of their five matches this season.

City have a Striker shortage

Also given that Sergio Aguero is out injured, and Gabriel Jesus is a major doubt, it would be a very brave punter who backs City at 1/4.

Especially given how badly Raheem Sterling has been in front of goal over the last few matches.

The England striker had two glorious chances late on to win City's match against West Ham last weekend, and blew them both. Resulting in another 2 points dropped for City.

Sheffield United V Man City Prediction 31/10/20

Tip - Man City to win at -1 on the Handicap @ 5/6 with Betfair

As eluded to above, 1/4 on a City win is way to short given their current form. That said, it would be no surprise to see the Citizens click into gear and give someone a hiding.

With that in mind, I have to go for a City win, while trying to find some decent value. That's what has brought me to City winning on the handicap at -1, at odds of 5/6 with Betfair.
