Where do you start with this one? Fulham have been thrashed at home to Arsenal, and put up a reasonable showing away at Leeds last weekend.

While Villa got their season off to a decent start by beating Sheffield United 1-0 on Matchweek 2, having not played on the opening weekend.

I may not get to say this again this season, but Villa are defending their 100% record, having taken 3 points from 3. Sorry Villa fans.

Anyway, onto the match itself, and it's a close one to call. In the football betting, the bookies have Aston Villa at odds against favourites. And I think that's the route I'm going to take.

Prediction - Villa win at 29/20 with Betfair

    Liverpool V Arsenal

Sometimes matches don't live up to what we expect. Last weekend we all got excited about the prospect of Frank Lampard's Chelsea taking on Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool, only for it to be a bit on anti climax.

Although I'm not anticipating the same fireworks from this match as I was from last week's encounter, I am expecting goals, and I don't think we will be let down this time around...... famous last words.

For all of the Gunner's improvements under Mikel Arteta, defending isn't one they've mastered. We all seen what happened when Arteta's new Arsenal turned up at the Etihad at the back end of last season. It was a shambles!

Even though Liverpool still haven't hit the heights of early last season, they should still have too much for Arsenal.

There are injury doubts surrounding Alisson in goal, and new signing Thiago. If they are ruled out, the loss of Alisson in particular may see a drift in the Red's odds pre match.

Either way, I expect Liverpool to be on the front foot for this one, and to come out firing. I can really see nothing other than a home win, with over 2.5 goals also a strong likelihood.

Prediction - Liverpool win @ 8/15 with Betfair
