AC Milan still harbour Europa League hopes
Onto Italy, and AC Milan have really hit the ground running since the restart. Okay, so that's just 2 wins from 2 in Serie A, but they have both been impressive wins.
Milan's win over Leece may well have looked routine on paper, but the Salentians were really put to the sword.
More impressive was Milan's 2-0 win over Roma. This was a real 6 pointer with regards to Europa League places, and the Rossoneri's win keeps them within touching distance of a spot in Europe next season.
It was a huge defeat for Roma as well, as they are now 9 points away from the Champions League places.
As for Spal, they're also 2 from 2 since the restart.....defeats that is. Luigi Di Biagio's team are 8 points from safety, and they look like they're heading for Serie B.
