It's widely reported that Manchester City and Bayern Munich have reached agreement over the transfer of Leroy Sane.
The young City wide man recently turned down a new contract. And with only 12 months left on his current deal, forced City's hand.
Are Bayern Munich over paying for Sane?
One things for sure, Bayern Munich were always going to have to pay big for Leroy Sane.
Will he be value for money? Who knows, but Sane is only 24, so has plenty of good years left in him. So it could be a good deal all round.
The reported €49 million up front, with €11 million in add ons is great money for a player who would have walked for nothing this time next year.
Considering Sane only had 12 months left on his contract, the Citizens have managed to negotiate a decent deal.
It's also a position City are quite strong in as well. Pep Guardiola already indicated he won't be looking to replace Sane, as he has enough in that area already.
Watch this space on that one though. You won't find City shouting from the rooftops that they need a wide left player, that's for certain!

What it does say to me is if City aren't going to replace Sane directly, then they will definitely be strengthening the central midfield area.
Phil Foden may now be utilised out wide more, where there will be less pressure on him. Meaning Guardiola can now look for more established players to supplement Kevin de Bruyne in the middle of the park.
I believe it also puts to bed any thoughts of Foden going out on loan next season.
With David Silva also departing the club this summer, it's inevitable Pep will have to spend.
Back to Sane, and the stories are that he's off to Germany to finalise the deal in the next 24 hours, meaning he won't be returning to City.
That's a big risk to take in my view, with City in with a great chance of lifting the Champions League this season. It shows how desperate Sane must be to return to Germany.
