Wolves shorten in Top 4 Betting after 1-0 win over Aston Villa

Wolves Top 4 Betting
Wolves are now 7/2 in Top 4 Finish Betting

After completing a ‌1-0‌ ‌win‌ ‌over‌Aston‌ ‌Villa‌ ‌in‌ ‌the‌ ‌Premier‌ ‌League‌ ‌earlier‌ ‌today‌, Wolves have been ‌slightly‌ ‌trimmed‌ ‌in‌ ‌the betting for a Top 4 finish.‌ ‌

Nuno‌ ‌Espirito‌ ‌Santo’s‌ ‌Wolves side‌ ‌have‌ ‌now‌ ‌been‌ ‌cut‌ ‌from‌ ‌11/2‌ ‌to‌ ‌7/2 in the betting for a Top 4 finish ‌after today’s‌ 1-0 win.‌ ‌

The‌ ‌3‌ ‌points‌ ‌take‌ ‌Wolves‌ ‌into‌ ‌5th‌ ‌place. They are now‌ ‌3‌ ‌points‌ ‌ahead‌ ‌of‌ ‌Manchester‌ ‌United,‌ ‌but‌ ‌the‌ ‌Red‌ ‌Devils‌ ‌have‌ ‌a‌ ‌game‌ ‌in‌ ‌hand, as well as‌ ‌a‌ ‌better‌ ‌goal‌ ‌difference.‌ ‌ ‌ ‌

Wolves‌ ‌are‌ ‌also‌ ‌now‌ ‌just‌ ‌3‌ ‌points‌ ‌behind‌ ‌Brendan‌ ‌Rodgers’‌ ‌faltering‌ ‌Leicester‌ ‌side.‌

Again,‌ ‌they’ve‌ ‌played‌ ‌a‌ ‌game‌ ‌more‌ ‌than‌ ‌the‌ ‌Foxes,‌ ‌who‌ ‌have‌ ‌a‌ ‌far‌ ‌superior‌ ‌goal‌ ‌difference. This is thanks‌ ‌in‌ ‌the‌ ‌main‌ ‌to‌ ‌their‌ ‌9-0‌ ‌win‌ ‌over‌ ‌Southampton‌ ‌earlier‌ ‌in‌ ‌the‌ ‌season.‌ ‌

‌The‌ ‌problem‌ ‌for‌ ‌Leicester‌ ‌is‌ ‌that‌ ‌they’ve‌ ‌resumed‌ ‌their‌ ‌Premier‌ ‌League‌ ‌season‌ ‌in‌ ‌poor‌ ‌form.‌

They‌ ‌have‌ ‌the‌ ‌feel‌ ‌of‌ ‌a‌ ‌team‌ ‌who‌ ‌are‌ ‌now‌ ‌misfiring‌ ‌their‌ ‌way‌ ‌through‌ ‌to‌ ‌the‌ ‌end‌ ‌of‌ ‌the‌ ‌season.

The‌ ‌Foxes‌ ‌are‌ ‌in‌ ‌FA‌ ‌Cup‌ ‌action‌ ‌against‌ Chelsea‌ ‌this‌ ‌weekend. While their‌ ‌next‌ ‌Premier‌ ‌League‌ ‌outing‌ ‌sees‌ ‌them‌ ‌heading‌ ‌to‌ ‌Goodison‌ ‌Park‌ ‌on‌ ‌Wednesday‌, ‌to‌ ‌take‌ ‌on‌ Everton.‌ ‌

‌Not‌ ‌the‌ ‌two‌ ‌ideal‌ ‌fixtures‌ ‌you‌ ‌want‌ ‌when‌ ‌you’re‌ ‌looking‌ ‌to‌ ‌play‌ ‌yourself‌ ‌back‌ ‌into‌ ‌form.‌

Latest Top 4 Betting

Latest Top 4 betting still sees Leicester City odds on at 4/9. Personally, I wouldn’t be backing them at those odds.

  • Chelsea 2/9
  • Leicester 4/9
  • Manchester United 6/4
  • Wolves 7/2

Liverpool have already got the first Top 4 position sewn up as Champions, and Manchester City are assumed to be Top 4 finishers with the bookmakers.
