Werder Could End Weekend In Big Trouble
At the bottom Werder Bremen blew their big chance to go above Fortuna Düsseldorf and finally climb out of the bottom 2 when they lost their game in hand at home to Eintracht Frankfurt on Wednesday.
The 3-0 home defeat was a massive blow to Bremen, who had done so well to get themselves back in with a chance of staying up, after previously been cut adrift at the bottom.
Both Bremen and Fortuna Düsseldorf are at home with tricky looking fixtures this weekend.

Düsseldorf entertain Hoffenheim on Saturday, with Bremen welcoming Wolfsburg to the Weserstadion on Sunday.
Depending on how results go, Die Werderaner could find themselves 5 points adrift at the bottom before they even kick a ball on Sunday. That's a very different proposition to pre kick off on Wednesday, when they could have climbed out of the bottom two.
