Football Betting Predictions Man Utd V Watford

Football Betting Predictions - The Premier League returns this weekend, and Man Utd will be looking to press their claims for a Top 4 finish when they take on Watford.

Ole Gunnar Solskaer was finally rewarded with the manager's job on a full time basis this week. The Norwegian signed a new 3 year contract at the Theatre of Dreams.

There would have been mutiny in the stands had any other manager got the job. After unsuccessful spells with 'outsider' managers, United have gone back to one of their own, with Solskjaer well and truly the fans choice.

Old Trafford should be in the mood to celebrate this appointment. The Red Devils are hosting a Watford side this weekend, who may well be thinking ahead to next weekend's FA Cup semi-final. Those two ingredients could spell trouble for Javi Gracia's team.

Man Utd V Watford Betting

It's no surprise to see United as the bookies favourites, they are a respectable looking 2/5 with Paddy Power. The draw is 7/2, with a Watford win at 13/2.

In alternative markets, Over 2.5 Goals is 4/7. If you think it might be a low scoring affair, Under 2.5 Goals is 5/4.

The Anytime Goalscorer market sees Lukaku at Even money. Marcus Rashford  is 11/10, with Paul Pogba at 6/4. I feel this one could be a Pogba kind of match.

From a Watford perspective, Troy Deeney is 10/3 to find the net at anytime.

The feel good factor was already back at Old Trafford, and it will have stepped up a notch or two after Solskjaer's permanent appointment.

The first match back after an international break can be tricky at times, but I expect United will have way too much fire power for the hornets.

United could well be back to near full strength. They are set to have available Marcus Rashford, Luke Shaw, Nemanja Matic, Ashley Young, and Anthony Martial. Belgium's Romelu Lukaku is doubtful.

Watford could have one eye on next weekend's FA Cup semi-final. Taking all this into account, it's hard to see anything other than a United win.
