Football Betting Predictions England V Czech Republic

Football Betting Predictions - England kick off their Euro 2020 qualifying campaign against Czech Republic on Friday night, and we believe that the Three Lions will keep their winning run going, despite the news that Marcus Rashford will be missing.

Gareth Southgate was originally accused of picking a conservative squad. But thanks to injury withdrawals, he has now added James Ward-Prose and Callum Hudson-Odoi to the squad.

Adding those two alongside Jadon Sancho, and West Ham youngster, Declan Rice, and it now looks like a youthful, energetic squad.

Marcus Rashford was finally ruled out on Thursday, but Southgate admits he already knew the United striker wasn't going to feature.

This withdrawal means it is likely that Dortmund's Jadon Sancho will get a start, and there is now an increased chance that Chelsea forward, Hudson-Odoi, will get the chance to claim his first cap from the bench.

Also likely to receive his first cap is Declan Rice, having got his first call up since swapping allegiance from Republic of Ireland, to England.

England V Czech Republic Betting

England unsurprisingly go into the match as heavy odds on favourites, they can be backed at 1/4 with Betfair. The draw is coming in at 9/2, and an unlikely victory for Czech Republic is 12/1.

Alternative betting markets see Harry Kane as 21/10 favourite to be the first goalscorer. Alternatively, you can back Kane at 4/6 in the anytime goalscorer market.

England V Czech Republic Predictions

England are riding on a wave of momentum, and Czech Republic don't look strong enough to bring this run to a halt. Southgate's men have a youthful, energetic look about them.

Including the likes of Sancho and/or Hudson-Odoi alongside the red hot Raheem Sterling should be too much for the Czech's, and I can't see them preventing an England win.
