For our football betting predictions this Saturday, we are looking at Man City V Watford.
Liverpool are not in action until Sunday, so Manchester City will be looking to extend the gap at the top of the Premier League to 4 points, when they take on Watford at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday evening.
Man City V Watford Betting Predictions
Pep's men took the outright lead at the top of the table when they defeated a shot-less Bournemouth, 1-0 last weekend. Then when it was the turn of the Reds, they were held to a goalless draw in the Merseyside Derby.
Not only do we have a tip on Man City today, there will be another one on Liverpool. We are fully expecting the Reds to hand Burnley a good beating when they meet on Sunday.
City to win in 90 minutes is to short, it's just 2/13. This means we need to look for something else to add to our tip.
In the Handicap betting, City are 4/11 to win with a -1 start, Evens at -2, and 5/2 at -3. Looking at the match result and over/under markets, and Pep's men are 4/11 to win and there to be over 2.5 goals in match. They are 10/11 to win with over 3.5 goals scored. These are the main markets I like to focus on.
To get around Even money in the match result and over/under goals market, we would need a City win with 4 goals. A 3-0 win for City would see the -2 handicap win at Even money. Based on keeping our bet at around even money, I'm going to go with the Handicap bet.
FOOTBALL BETTING PREDICTIONS MAN CITY V WATFORD
Recommended Bet – 5 Points on Man City to beat Watford at -2 on Handicap Betting market at Evens with Betfair.
City have a goal difference of +56, compared to Liverpool at +49. A goal difference of 7 in a title race is worth an extra point to City. Matches at home to Watford and Burnley (who Liverpool play on Sunday), not only have to be used to claim another 3 points, but also improve respective goal differences. Improving goal difference will vital come the end of the season.
Man City kick off at 5.30pm on Saturday, the match is live on BT Sports. The match is at City's Etihad Stadium.
Although City have had quieter times in front of goal lately, only beating West Ham and Bournemouth 1-0 respectively, they have still been creating numerous chances.
This suggests someone somewhere will be getting a good hiding soon. Watford have recent form for this, having lost 5-0 at Anfield lately.
