Premier League Free Betting Tips – Liverpool V Cardiff

I have to confess, I didn’t see Cardiff scoring 4 goals in a match all season, so I was more than shocked while away last weekend to check my phone to see the Bluebirds adding goals at regular intervals in their 4-2 win over the – currently – hapless Fulham.

Sorry to all you Cardiff fans out there, but I expect the glories of last weekend to be short lived. I can see nothing but a resounding defeat for you when your team visits Anfield this Saturday.

Klopp’s men seem back on track after their minor blip pre international break. The Reds have won both their matches since the international break, a 1-0 league win away at Huddersfield last weekend, followed by the 4-0 demolition of Red Star Belgrade at Anfield on Wednesday in the Champions League, suggesting that they are slowly getting their mojo back, at least at home.

Mohamed Salah anytime goalscorer betting

More tellingly and worryingly for Cardiff is that Mohamed Salah now has 3 goals in his last 2 matches, so he has certainly got his mojo back.

In the anytime goalscorer market, Salah is 4/9 with Paddy Power to find the net, who also have the Egyptian at 23/10 to score first.

The Over/Unders market don’t represent a huge amount of value either. At the moment, over 2.5 goals is just 2/5. With over 3.5 goals at even money, and over 4.5 goals at 12/5. It’s hard to see Cardiff scoring, so I believe you would be relying on Klopp’s men alone to bring any of those bets in.

In the match result and over/under 1.5 goals market, a Liverpool win and over 1.5 goals is just 1/5. Liverpool to win and there to be over 2.5 goals, is just 4/9.

Half time/full time on Liverpool is 1/2 with Betvictor, and in handicap betting, Liverpool -2 is even money, with Liverpool -3 at 12/5.

I expect Liverpool to win and there to be at least 2 goals in the match, but there is no value there. To get value, we need at least a third goal. Surely there will be 3 goals against Cardiff?

To give us some value and get up at the even money mark, I’ve settled on the handicap market. Liverpool at -2 is evens. A 3-0 win for Liverpool will bring in the handicap bet, so for that reason I am tipping Liverpool at -2.

Recommended Bet – 5 Points on Liverpool at -2 to win on the Handicap at even money with Betfair
