Liverpool take on Man City this weekend and here is our free tips and predictions on the big match.
Arguably the biggest Premier League match of the season to date, and I'm struggling a bit to know what to expect today.
Liverpool V Man City Betting Tips
The main reason for my confusion is Liverpool, I just don't know what to expect from them. Will we get the Klopp Liverpool of last season, and the one that destroyed PSG just a few weeks back? The quick out of the blocks, pressing high, and free scoring Liverpool.
Or will we get the slightly misfiring almost unrecognisable Liverpool that lost 1-0 in Naples on Wednesday night? This is the dilemma when it comes to tipping this match.
The bookies are struggling to separate these two as well. Both teams are 17/10 in the 90 minutes betting market with Betfair, with the draw at 13/5.
Liverpool V Man City Betting Odds
If you are expecting goals, Over 2.5 Goals is 7/10, with Over 3.5 Goals coming in at 7/4. If we get the Liverpool that played PSG, then I expect both of these bets to come in.
In First Goalscorer betting, it is a very open market. Depending on which bookmaker you are using, you can get 4/1 on both Aguero and Salah to score first, with Paddy Power and Betfair offering 5/1 on the Argentine.
Next in First Goalscorer betting is Gabriel Jesus, who is 6/1 with the same two bookies, as is Sadio Mane. Daniel Sturridge is a best price of 13/2 with 888Sport.
The Anytime Goalscorer betting market is also very competitive. Aguero and Salah are both 17/11 with Betfair and 888Sport, with Sturridge at 23/10, and Mane at 11/5, with the same two layers.
Another market to take into consideration if you fancy goals, is Both Teams To Score. At the moment the best odds here are 4/7 on Yes with Betfair, and 13/8 on No with Betvictor.
Personally, I am leaning to the thinking that this is a good time for City to be playing Liverpool. Although I wouldn't be massively surprised to see Liverpool win (and I do believe all 3 outcomes are possible here), I do believe that City won't lose today.
For this reason I am betting - tentatively - on the Double Chance market, and I am going on Man City/Draw, at 1/2.

I'm banking on the tentative Liverpool that played Napoli turning up today. The Reds are three matches without a win, and I'm thinking that they might lack a bit of confidence today, and that City will notice that and punish Klopp's men.
Add to that the pressure - unfairly - being heaped upon Mo Salah, with idiotic remarks being made in the media about Klopp needing to drop him, and you can see why I'm leaning towards Liverpool not winning.
The Egyptian hasn't scaled the heights of last season yet. If manages to do 80% of what he achieved in the last campaign, he will be doing well. I believe it will be almost impossible for him to repeat that success.
