The Manchester United and Liverpool players return to the squad for this match, and it could be a pivotal night for youngster Marcus Rashford, who might get a chance to show what he can do, especially given the fact Jamie Vardy won’t be taking part in this match after getting married earlier in the week.
Another player who might not be 100% certain of a place in the squad is Jordan Henderson, who continues his comeback from a knee injury. Given Jack Wilshere’s presence in the squad, manager Roy Hodgson might be reluctant to take two players to France who have slight fitness concerns, meaning Henderson’s place might not as yet be guaranteed.
What time is kick off and where can I watch England V Australia?
The game kicks off at 7.45pm, at Sunderland’s Stadium of Light, and is live on ITV1, with coverage of the match starting at 7.30pm. The match is SOLD OUT.
England V Australia Odds
As you would expect, England are heavy odds on favourites. Roy Hodgson’s men can be backed at around 2/7, with the draw at 11/2, and an unlikely Australia victory can be backed at a massive looking 12/1.
