THIS OFFER HAS ALREADY ENDED
According to the bookmakers, Jurgen Klopp to Liverpool is already a done deal, with some reports suggesting the German will be the new Liverpool manager as soon as this Friday.
Most bookmakers have suspended betting on Klopp, while those still offering odds have the former Dortmund manager as short as 1/20 to take over from Brendan Rodgers at Anfield.
If you are considering opening a new Betfair account, now could be as good a time as any, as anybody opening a new Betfair account through this link can currently get 3/1 on Jurgen Klopp to be next Liverpool manager, and up to £100.00 in free bets.
If you take this offer, the maximum bet at 3/1 on Klopp is £10.00. If for some reason Klopp doesn’t become the next Liverpool manager, you will get your tenner back as a free bet.
As I already eluded too, most bookies have stopped taking bets on Klopp. Betfair still have a book open, their standard price to existing customers is currently 1/20. While on the Betting Exchange, he is available at roughly 1/10 – 1/11.
Klopp signalled his interest in returning to football management fairly recently, when he announced that he was prepared to cut short a sabbatical if the right job became available. This was at a time when there was talk about Brendan Rodgers potentially being the next manager to get the sack, and was seen as Klopp signalling his interest in the Liverpool job.
The recent turmoil at Chelsea may well have prompted Liverpool to act now. The Blues surely would consider Klopp for the job at Stamford Bridge should it become available, but in acting now, Liverpool have ensured they should have Klopp in place before Chelsea – possibly – win the next sack race.
Brendan Rodgers was sacked on Sunday, and immediately on the Monday it was reported to be a two horse race between Klopp, and former Chelsea boss, Carlo Ancelotti. That debate already seems to have been put to bet, as the Italian has drifted out to 8/1 second favourite.
All the chatter now is that talks started between Klopp and Liverpool on Monday, and that they were progressing well. In all honesty though, there is a good chance that talks started weeks ago, as would Liverpool really have fired Rodgers without a pretty definite replacement already lined up?
I can’t see them doing that, and there now appears to be little more than just general formalities to complete before Klopp is announced as Liverpool manager.
There is no specified end date for the 3/1 on Klopp to be next Liverpool manager offer. If it gets hammered though, there is the possibility it could be withdrawn. So it might be worth grabbing it now!
