Southampton Top 4 Finish Betting

Southampton Top Four Finish Latest Football Betting Odds

Latest Top Four Finish Betting – We are now nearly mid way through January and Southampton still haven’t blown up and fell away as many had expected.

Not only has yesterday’s 1-0 victory over Manchester United at Old Trafford has seen them move up to third in the table, it has further enhanced their credentials as a serious candidate for a top four finish.

Southampton are now 7/4 in latest Top Four Finish Betting

The bookies are certainly taking them serious. The Saints are now in to a – ridiculously sounding – best price of 7/4 to finish in the top four.

At the start of the season who would have thought Southampton would be that price by mid January? Surely not even the most ardent Southampton fan could have done.

Bookies offering 7/4 on Southampton are Betvictor and Stan James. The shortest price I have seen on a Southampton top four finish is 5/4.

Of the other top four candidates, I think we can safely disregard Chelsea and Man City. The bookies certainly have, as a bet on either is nearly impossible to find.

Manchester United are next in the football betting. They are a best price of 1/2 for a top four finish with William Hill. Some bookies have United at 1/3.

Then come Arsenal, who are a best price of 8/15 with Ladbrokes, the shortest price I can see for Arsenal is 2/5. So this basically makes Southampton fifth favourites for a top four finish, ahead of the likes of Tottenham and Liverpool.

If you do fancy Spurs, they are a best price of 13/2 with Paddy Power, while Liverpool are also a best price of 13/2 with bet365.
