No Coventry players in PFA Team of the Year
I can’t believe this, there is no Coventry City players in the PFA team of the year. This is an absolute disgrace and just goes to show what I’ve always thought – that the footballing world is against us and hates Coventry City, there is an unjustified bias shown against us.
I mean, did anyone see the beautiful brand of football played under Aidy Boothroyd?
No pissing around, straight forward attractive football with Kieren Westwood’s cultured left foot hitting pin point accurate 70-80 yard punts onto the head of Clive Platt.
For this reason alone, Westwood should have been the goalkeeper in the team.
I’m sure the PFA will attempt to justify ignoring Westwood’s claims, probably pointing out that he missed a lot of the season with repetitive strain injuries to his left leg.
And what of Clive Platt? He has headed hundreds of balls this season and has chested it down on many occasions, I even seen him control the ball with his first touch once, it is a disgrace that he didn’t make the eleven.
For the record the Championship Team of the Year is Kenny (QPR), Naughton (Leicester), Harte (Reading), Williams (Swansea), Morgan (Nottm Forest), Taarabt (QPR), Sinclair (Swansea), King (Leicester), Hoolahan (Norwich), Graham (Watford), Holt (Norwich).
By the way, I’m not as paranoid and as bad a loser as Arsene Wenger is.
