The road to recovery didn’t last too long. Not too impressed with the nights football to say the least. Started the night with £62.30 in my account and ended it with just £36.19 left, a loss of £26.11. Way too much for a modest betting bank.
Got on the over 2.5 goals @ Evens in the Arsenal game with a view to trading out after – hopefully – getting a couple of 1st half goals, then got on over 1.5 in the 2nd half, could have traded out after the Ipswich goal, but left it in the hope that an Arsenal equaliser would bail out all my night’s gambling, great decision!
I think it’s fair to say that the bookies cleaned up on the Gunners result tonight.
North of the border it looks like they were more interested in red cards than goals, again got on over 2.5 goals at just over Evens. When Hamilton scored I could have traded out, but let the bet run hoping for a Celtic equaliser.
My new game plan is too trade out at the first opportunity, but I think in games where the likes of Celtic, Manchester United, Barcelona, etc, go a goal behind, you have to let the bet run as in most cases an equaliser is almost certain.
Done a late lay of the correct score in Blackpool V Liverpool match in a desperate bid to claw back some of the nights losses, no major surprise to see that lose as well. Bollocks!!
Lost £11.86 on Ipswich V Arsenal – over/under 1.5 and 2.5 goals
Lost £11.25 on Hamilton V Celtic – over/under 2.5 goals, correct score
Lost £3.00 on Blackpool V Liverpool – correct score
At this rate I’ll need to top my account up again!
